Nice hotel, after a couple bad experiences with the County Inn and Suite chain this stay was much better. Clean rooms, nice staff, good location, and what was promised was delivered (breakfast, correct rate, easy check-in and check-out). I suggest you request a room on the creek side as the side facing the road was fairly loud due to all the traffic. Overall a great spot to stay.
I booked my room on Hotels.com and specifically requested a river view. Upon arrival we were given a room on the street side. When I addressed this with them they said they did not have to honor that since the booking was third party. We were on the 3rd floor almost directly over the entrance and could hear every car on the road and in the parking lot. Room was not super clean but acceptable. Bed was comfortable and close to many attractions. Breakfast was a grab and go bag with packaged snacks, which I guess is better than nothing. Coffee came out of dispenser a milky brown color without adding creamer. I didn't venture to taste it. Would not stay again.
I really enjoyed this hotel. The lady that checked us in was so friendly and the hotel is updated and was done very nice. I would highly recommend staying here.
Loved it! Beautiful hotel inside and out. Be sure to try for one of their fireplace rooms! Great location for tourist trap lovers like us of PF and Gatlinburg.
