Room was clean, fully stocked on towels/toiletries. Pool was clean and so was the spa. Staff was friendly. The vibe in the hotel was laid back. There was rules posted but all the guests were pretty much doing their own thing. The hotel is starting to show its age but I think that is what gives it a certain charm. The only thing that kept this review from getting five stars was the bed. Where everything else was great, the beds were so firm that my back was breaking each morning when I got up. I had originally planned to stay four nights, but left on the third morning because the bed was just so horribly uncomfortable and my back was aching so bad. And the pillows are too soft for a bed so firm. So for me it was like laying flat on a concrete table. Other than that, this hotel is right off the parkway so there is plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking/driving distance. The Island is just down the street from this hotel. Other than the beds being an issue, would probably stay here again.

Room was clean, indoor pool was nice, we got a jacuzzi room for her birthday (the whole reason for rooming with park grove inn) and the jets would not work, We called the front desk and was told we would have to wait for morning for maintenance to take a look, our checkout time was 11am. Let the owner know the next morning and he said they would take a look and give a partial refund. Called back the following day and the jets worked fine apparently and no partial refund. I should have asked to see how they got it to work, my girlfriend and I tried to turn it on 50 times that night and it wasn't doing anything at all. #717

We always stay here when we visit Tennessee. The staff are always nice.. They have a heated indoor pool for winter. We love that!!

We stayed at the hotel last weekend and were very happy with the stay. The young lady in the reception was so sweet. We asked for a quiet room since we travel with an infant and she was glad to accommodate us. The hotel is large with many amenities- the pools are wonderful, the hotel feels clean and they have excellent to go breakfast. The room was showing its age but it didn't ruin anything for us. The balcony overlooked the mountains and the view was breathtaking. The price was right and we were so happy that we booked another stay this weekend. Outstanding!
