Enjoyed our weekend stay at The Inn on the River. Our room with balcony over the river was really nice even though it was cold! We sat outside bundled up with coffee. We also enjoyed the fire pit several times. Breakfast was good, a lot to choose from. When we were there everyone wore mask, disposable gloves were provided and everyone seemed to be respectful of distancing. Dennis at the front desk was awesome. The young man that kept the fire pit going and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return and hopefully bring our sons and their families!
Front desk was nice and informative. The hotel room clean, smells nice, big bathroom and has everything needed. Hotel is up on a big hill so might be difficult in winter or when there is lots of rain. The actual building looks a bit out dated but is just cozy and nice on the inside.
The ladies at the front desk were all really nice! The rooms were clean and very cozy. Our jacuzzi worked great.The beds were comfortable. We slept good. Our dog had plenty of room to play and walk around inside and out back. If you have a pet it costs $25 a day.There is a smoking section in the back by the river but there is no smoking by the buildings. Great location too! We would definitely stay here again!
My family and I stayed for two days and we loved it!! Very clean, modern and comfortable. The rooms are very nice, we had the river view and loved sitting on the deck listening to the water. Everything you need is literally right out the front door of the hotel within walking distance. The only suggestion I would have is changing tables in the bathroom down stairs in the lobby. Also, if you plan to wash your little ones bring an inflatable tub as our room only had a walk in shower. They have a roof top bar with a huge pool plenty of places to sun bathe and a hot tub so bring your swim suit, we really enjoyed it as it’s only for the guests. We will be staying again on our next trip!!!
I stayed between Sunday March 21- March 26. This hotel has unbelievable customer service. The rates were so cheap for a very nice room to lay your head down on. Everyone at the front desk is so accommodating. This was my first time visiting Pigeon Forge and i will definitely return for many years to come. So i highly recommend this hotel!!!!!!!!!!
If you are looking for a relaxing place to sleep in pigeon forge. Wild life off the balcony to feed. Room little tight ,beds comfortable, clean. Not a great place for swimming if that's what you are looking for. One of my favorite places to stay. Good room for price.
This hotel was by far one of the best we have stayed at. Rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, pools and hot tub were open 24 hours a day. Hotel staff were friendly. The only thing that would have been better is if they had an actual restaurant in the hotel vs having the bistro that is only open at certain times.
Mrs Charlene at the front desk is absolutely amazing!! She is a dedicated lady who strives to make your vacation stay with Wild Bear Inn as easy, convenient and comfortable as possible! We arrived early due to a sudden family getaway and couldn’t find anything nice and accommodating and affordable for our family until we found her at Wild Bear Inn!!! This hotel is clean, comfortable and inexpensive! We are so pleased with our choice to stay the week at Wild Bear Inn!!! I highly recommend the hotel for a family getaway!!! We stayed here for what was suppose to be 2 nights, and we loved it so much we ended up adding on 2 extra nights. Excellent staff, super clean rooms, and a fantastic location. I'd argue that it's probably this hotel couldn't be any better placed, everything seems to surround the hotel. If you drive you can be to about any attraction, restaurant, or leisure spot in less than 5 minutes. We were in Gatlinburg in less than 10 minutes. If your wanting a great stay, excellently priced this is where you want to stay. The beds were hands down the best beds I've slept on in any hotel. The fridge is really spacious and gets super cold. When we go to Pigeon Forge again we will definitely use this hotel everytime.
I loved the friendliness of the staff as soon as I entered the building. He had my key coupons and even a free pancake breakfast voucher ready for me. The room was so nice, it took me a while with the shower so many knobs. It had a heated pool outside, walking distance to Island of Pigeon Forge. And all of this for a very affordable price. Next time i visit Pigeon Forge i am definitely staying here.
We only got to stay for 2 nights but I wish it was longer. We had a private balcony with an amazing view of the mountains as well as the huge pool. It was a little too cold for us to try it out but it looked like there was a small lazy river which is awesome. I can't wait to come back to Pigeon forge and stay again in the future. My only complaint was that our room wasn't ready until after dinner time, when we came at 4:30 they said we would have to come back after dinner.
The room was clean and nice, perhaps a little small but other than that it was fine. The pool was excellent. What I didn't care for that much was the lack of forwardness about how the breakfast would be. It ended up being prepackaged food only, it doesn't bother me but I would've liked to know first.
Words cannot explain how happy I am with this hotel! And for the price?! Under $130 a night. The rooms are huge and have EVERYTHING! Seriously... everything. It's like staying at a resort or a furnished apartment. I 110% suggest this place. It's beautiful, clean and all of the staff are so wonderful and helpful!! Beautiful views and basically walking distance from everything! (Depending on how much you like to walk and children etc)
Stayed here with my friend for a mini vacation and I have to say this place is really nice! Nice front desk people, nice atmosphere! Made me feel like we was at the beach and the mountains at the same time! Wonderful view from the balcony and clean rooms! I love how the hallways smelt like the beach and people following covid rules! The indoor pools was the perfect temperature for a late night swim! I felt safe and at home at the hotel! If I visit Tennessee again this will be my first place to look at to book! Thank y’all for the great stay!
Absolutely wonderful place with wonderful people. We loved every minute there. We go there as often as possible. Singing Santa makes this place amazing. I love the heart of all the employees. And the decorations are amazing. This place gets 6 stars!!!
I've stayed here a number of times and it's always been a pleasant experience. Just the fact it has a kitchen and a living room area makes it feel almost like home. A really good rate if you use an app.
Very great rate. Good location near Wonderworks and Titanic. Room was very small for the size of the beds. Walls are very thin; could hear everything the neighbors were saying. Their dog barked most of the evening. Otherwise, for the rate it was decent for an overnight visit.
Honestly the best experience we've ever had and the trip isn't over. David at the front desk is a true gentleman. He went above and beyond just to make sure we were happy. After we checked in we got an anniversary card from them. It was only a small portion of their kindness, but it made a big gesture of who they are. Very clean, amazing staff, and tons of things to do with your family. Can't wait to bring or kids next weekend.
