Accommodation excellent. Pillows a bit firm. Food and wine wonderful. Waitress new the wines and suggested the correct wine for myself to drink after listening to me.
Check in was easy. The man at reception was friendly. The room was spotless but..an oven with no pans, no cutlery nothing, just 2 glasses in the bathroom and 2 cup/ sauces. Plenty of tea and coffee but hardly any sugar. Beautiful bathroom but nowhere to put your toiletries while showering. Loved the walk in robe. A little more thought put into what goes in the kitchen cupboards and I would have given 5 stars. However, nowhere to park your car.

I am 72 with size 13 shoes. Stairs to 1st floor very steep with room for only half my foot. No handrail top 1/3. Bedroom window single glass which backed onto kitchen with people having great time from 0700 Sunday morning. So much for sleep in .
Ok if one is warned but nope!! Carpets have ripples as so loose . Need tensioning. Have stayed at families other B& B near the Prison. Now that was schmik l!!!
Great location, nice room. That's it. Planned to stay with friends for the weekend, brunch in a local cafe then an afternoon in the pool with some bubbly wine. The door lock to our room broke so we couldn't get in to get the wine or change into bathers. The owner wasn't on site and was a hour away. When he arrived to fix it he said it was a recurring problem but said it wouldn't happen again. The afternoon was gone now so we headed into Fremantle for dinner and a show. Got back at 11:30 to another lock problem. This time it only took a few minutes to resolve. In the morning at check out we complained only to be accused of trying to get a discount . Thanks for the 15% off we will invest it wisely. Very rude and unsympathetic staff. Hopefully he fixes the lock before the next person stays in room 1. I doubt it though.
