Excellent two night stay at COMO The Treasury. We had high expectations based on previous reviews and acclaim for best hotel in Perth - and they were met. Glad we chose it over the RC.
We ate dinner at POST the first evening - which exceeded expectations. The gnocchi was superb.
Only comment would be that they wanted to seat us immediately beside another table, despite it being largely empty when we arrived and left, and our request to move tables wasn’t warmly met (explanation being they would be busy... evidence said otherwise).
Aside from that blip, service was otherwise exemplary. Breakfast was fantastic both days - both food and service.
The building is beautiful and immaculately clean. Rooms are the same - kudos to the cleaning staff and management on this front.
Gym is well equiped and pool very nice.
Would definitely stay here again. A good start to our holiday.
In short: spend your money elsewhere. For the price I expect responsive, accommodating, respectful service - not what I've experienced.
As a past guest at the COMO, I purchased an AU$600 gift card for a family member to enjoy this experience, only for COMO staff to decline its use for accommodation. My emails to resolve this were left unanswered - clearly this is something that happens often, with no intent to resolve - avoid.
Possibly one of the most luxurious and incredible hotels I have ever stayed in. I cannot recommend COMO The Treasury enough, we were greeted by exceptional staff who paid fantastic attention to detail and could not have been more accommodating. The rooms and amenities are not done justice by the incredible photos and are simply stunning.
Although COMO is at the upper end of the market, it is certainly worth the splurge for a special occasion or weekend away.

What an outstanding experience it is staying at COMO The Treasury! It perfectly blends the history of the old State Treasury building with all the modern conveniences one needs. The check-in process is simply delightful. From the helpful and pleasant staff, to the complimentary sparkling wine, you are immediately made to feel at home in the unconventional yet stylish lobby. The hallways are abundantly wide, with their sheer scale dwarfed only by the oversize rooms. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed, while maintaining their historical grandeur. There has been no attempt to shoehorn in more rooms to increase profits, and the feel of the hotel is all the better for it. The sheets are the finest cotton, the bath products decadent and the complimentary mini bar a nice touch. All in all, COMO The Treasury is faultless and fully deserving of 5 stars. Well done to all the team who make this hotel the spectacular experience it is.
