We are currently staying here for a few days. The property is beautiful but what really stands out is the exceptional staff and service. Melissa looked after our reservation and was so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.
We are in an interconnecting deluxe room. Immaculately clean. Tomorrow we move to a suite. 5 stars all the way so far.
Poor attitude from the manager and the owner. Beware of this hotel and management. We had our wedding night booked here and cancelled when they made up stories in response to our review on trip advisor. It was a blessing in disguise as we have booked ourselves into a lovely hotel who appreciates their patrons closer to the city with river views for a better price!
It was absolutely lovely. Very relaxing. Food in the restaurant was top notch. Included breakfast and free valet parking. Easy walk into the shopping precinct. Definitely stay again.
We had a two night stay in a club room on a Luxury Escapes package. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Evening canapes and drinks in the Club room was fabulous. Both drinks and nibbles were generous and the lovely staff friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the pool and altogether a great stay made special by caring staff. Thankyou.
I'm giving this hotel 5 stars and that is mainly because of the staff. We usually spend Christmas at another hotel in the city but as that was full we decided on the Duxton. We booked Christmas day in a club room with access to the club lounge , breakfast, valet parking and booked the Firewater Grille for the evening buffet. From the moment we were greeted by the concierge, the reception and other staff we knew we had made the right choice as they all had smiles and made us feel very welcome. The club rooms are older but very clean and comfortable and very spacious. We enjoyed free flowing drinks and canopies in the Club lounge overlooking the river. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely hostesses here and it was a great place to spend a couple of hours. Christmas evening buffet at the Firewater Grille was excellent and breakfast the next morning in the club lounge was a great way to start the day. After 10 years of spending Christmas at our previous hotel we are now starting a new tradition and future ones will be spent at the Duxton Perth. Thank you to all the staff for making it a special time .
