Overall good experience, the pool was lovely and clean, however there was no seating available and once I finally found a poolside lounge free, it has a big rip in it.
The bathroom was nice and my favourite part of the room, however there was a hole in one of the towels, as well as a hole in one of the pillowcases. There was also left over food crackers in our room from the person before us. There was no access to free water, except a small bottle was given to us during our stay. It would have been nice to receive bottles when we arrived as I was left to drink water out of the tap at first, as I was not going to pay for the over priced water in the mini fridge. Movies to rent were also about $17 which I think is very over priced as many streaming platforms allow rent for much cheaper.
I would have liked a later check out time, or earlier check in time, as we did not get much time to enjoy the hotel facilities, especially since we had to wait over an hour to check in, plus an additional half an hour just in the car queue out the front. We weren’t aware of the $500 bond until check in, which was a bit hard as a young couple to just cough up.
Our room had a nice view, except we didn’t really get to see it at night since we had the light reflecting into our room from the roof, of the lower part of the hotel (level 16), we had to close our curtains as it was so bright and didn’t get to enjoy the night time view.
Overall it was a nice stay, however for the amount we paid, I expected better. Definitely not 5 stars, but a good 3-4/5. The photos attached are the light from the roof and the waiting line. (don’t get me wrong I don’t mind having the room with the light, it was just annoying and bright at night time).
Great accommodation, lovely room and food and excellent pool area but have been double charged upon checkout. Did express checkout and they charged me again for the room out of the bond even though I’d already prepaid the room when I booked. Has been very hard to try to speak to anyone about this and when I finally did get hold of someone just got told they’re looking into it. Not happy about this and hope I’ll get refunded soon as it’s a lot of money!
40 minute stand in line to check in, then to be told at 4:30pm that the room we booked two months ago was not ready (check in was at 3pm). They eventually offered us a smokers room, we agreed as we didn’t want to wait any longer. We were offered free movies and 15% discount for the room swap. Took two steps into the room and walked straight back out. Neither my partner or i are smokers and the smell was unbearable!! We went back to the desk and asked to be swapped back to a non smokers room still to be told there was none available. There was nothing on offer to compensate our now two hours wasted. The manager came to speak with us and magically a non smoking room was now available (minus the 15% discount and free movies). Finally up to our room and no sign of the bottle of sparkling we paid for on check in. Had to ask for it twice before it came up 2 hours later.
Facilities are nice but will definitely not be staying here again. For the price you pay the service is rubbish. Will not recommend to friends and family!!
Great place restaurants,casino,hotel. It's clean and tidy and quite beautiful if you just want to take a stroll around. Good for functions and expos also. So many places to get food open 24hr is always an added bonus. Paid parking,wheelchair friendly and you can even bring the kids for brunch,lunch or dinner.
I booked a room for our honey moon night, and it was a lovely room looking out to the city. My only gripe was it included a bottle of champagne on arrival. It wasn't champagne, is was sparkling wine, and it was warm. They put a warm bottle in an ice bucket and sent that to the room and I was less than impressed.
