We recently got married at Rothwood and can't speak highly enough of Kevin and the venue. The ceremony and reception looked amazing among the beautiful garden setting, and the accommodation was perfect for hosting our friends and family. We would highly recommend Rothwood to anyone looking at getting married in the Perth area.
We went for a wedding and although originally intended to be an outdoor dinner in warm spring air the staff easily moved everyone undercover with heating for a crisp spring stormy afternoon. Beautiful grounds, great food, and an awesome atmosphere. Would love to come back and stay a night or two as it just looks magic.
Having our wedding at Rothwood was an absolute fairytale. ♀️ Being able to have a ceremony and reception AND accommodation for the bridal party in the same venue made the whole weekend much more of an experience. The gardens were lush, colourful and stunning, topped off by festoon lighting. Being a DIY venue meant we could have exactly what we wanted in terms of catering (Innovations Catering) and beverages (Caravan & Tonic) and not be stuck with set packages that we might not fully use. The accommodation (5 rooms with king beds or joint king singles) was the perfect amount for our bridal party and Kevin made sure to always be on hand to light the fire or get the fire pit going. Being able to check-in on Friday to set up, have our wedding on Saturday and then stay until Monday was the perfect amount of time and we now miss being there! Every time we've seen him over the last year, he has procured new features to add to his wedding furniture including long sit down tables, a dance floor, peacock chairs for the happy couple, up lights for the magnificent trees, cake stand, outdoor heaters, wine barrels, stools and so much more. Kevin's weekend wedding package is worth every cent and hubby and I could not recommend Rothwood more.
Wow impressive outdoor gardens I was here sketching Caricature Art for Mr & Mrs Fox and loved it. Look forward to coming back to this location... !!!!!
