The hotel itself is quite nice, and if it was a 3 star resort, we would have been happy. For a 4,5 star resort, it's not good enough at all. Breakfast is barely ok. Very hot room. The staff is nice, but barely speak English. The rooms are of good size but no bath tub and no warm water for a hot shower. Pool is gorgeous, but insanely noisy now as there is construction going on. Elevators are so warm, if they stop working you're in serious trouble. Children's club and main restaurant was closed, and gym was insanely warm and small.
We let our room stay empty for the last days of our stay and left the hotel two days before planned to go to a quiet resort where we could chill with the pool.
this is not a hotel for singles party people very high price for changing partner every time 1500bjt !!!
What a fantastic hotel. Lovely staff. Supportive and knowledgeable concierge and reasonably priced food, drinks and happy hours. The pool is MASSIVE and never packed with guests. The views are lovely and the rooms are luxurious and clean. If you have the means I highly recommend staying here. Well done guys!
This was the absolute worst highly rated hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They advertise and 8.8 rating and it’s more like a 2.8 due to their terrible service, and disgusting food. I have asked the concierge for 3 nights in a row to send water up to my room and despite taking down my name and room number, nothing ever came. Same thing with towels, pillows, and food. The phone line to in room dining does not work, and I’m 99% sure the food at the pool bar gave me food poisoning. The staff is rude and selfish, and they would not accept money with a microscopic tear or fold in it. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and it’s advertising is completely false. Looks good in the outside, terrible stay.
This place doesn't list the fact that there are two stories of rooms under the lobby that DO NOT have elevators. Furthermore the common spaces do not have AC and are mosquito ridden. It is also a far walk from the center of town (uphill) so you may want to reconsider if you're traveling with young kids and older folks who can't walk up several flights of stairs to get the the main lobby before walking down a steep hill to get into town. If accessibility is an issue, they should have mentioned this on their listing.
