Baan Yuree has very friendly and helpful
staff.The rooms are neat and tidy and cleaned daily.Pool area is neat and consists of 3pools.They offer a free shuttle to the beach and mall every 2hours which is very convenient.
The breakfast was very poor lacked variety and flavour.
The resort is situated on a hill so most taxi services will charge extra as they complain about the hill.
There is also a dump before turning into the resort which might give you a dodgy feeling on first sight.
There is a family mart and 7/11 as well as a laundromat down the hill which is very reasonably priced.
Apart from the view being amazing from our room. The service was terrible. No help with luggage. The bed was rock solid. There was a huge hill to climb upon getting to the hotel. There was a rat in our wardrobe and there was a power cut meaning we had to walk up and down many flights of stairs. The breakfast wasnt cooked properly and there wasnt a variety neither. The free shuttles weren't very often and the whole customer service in general was appalling. For the rating that this hotel is, it needs to be reviewed.
Amazing place to stay if you really want to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of Patong. The hotel itself is situated on a very quiet hill about 27 minutes walk from Patong beach. There are shuttle busses every 2 hours that run between the hotel, beach and Jungceylon.
A good Hotel with nice, helpful staff and good sevic. We appreciate specials when driving on the beach or shopping mall. Thanks
This is the first time my partner and I have visited Thailand and what an experience. We were due to arrive after the designated check-in time due to our flight times and first impressions of the staff were great (we rang ahead to inform), they we very accommodating and assured us there would be someone at reception to check us in on our arrival (we arrived about 9pm local time). The staff are a great asset, all of them are always happy to assist you with any advice or to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Tan the manager is very friendly and helpful, she assisted us in booking various trips.
They have a taxi service that are prepared to take you anywhere on the island at a very reasonable price. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the housekeeping staff are friendly and professional. They have a breakfast service everyday, not a massive amount of choice but better than other hotels I've stayed at in the past, they don't have an evening restaurant but the lunch service is perfect, my favourite is the Pengang!
The grounds are well kept and maintained, the pool area is certainly one of the best I've seen (no screaming/splashing children), there are showers and toilets facilities which again are clean.
The location is great, perched up on the hillside at the south end of Patong, Patong's bustling centre is a 15/20 minute walk away, the only downside is that to access the hotel there is a steep hill to climb (very well known to the local taxi drivers but a bit of bartering will get you a taxi from the centre of town back and will cost you 200-300 Baht).
To conclude I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, thank you to all the staff for the amazing hospitality.
