Reviews from visitors:
The decor of the hotel is amazing while the room was clean and bright, with a very comfortable bed and great little balcony, which ran the length of the room and offered a great sun trap. To escape the heat (~33° for the duration of our stay), the room also remained cool (a quite and easily controlled environmental control) and was a nice contrast to the heat outside.
The bathroom was nice with great huge mirror and deep bath, good water pressure and a door on to the balcony.
There were also some excellent staff (George, Jadidja, Solange and Odillion - merci!). The pool and spa area were pristine and private and very much enjoyed.
It is also in a good location close to the Bastille Metro, Place des Vosages with quick and easy access to Notre Dame the Louvre et al and not overrun by tourists.
Would definitely recommend.
It was clearly one of the best hotels that i stayed. We stayed there with my girlfriend for 4 days and we had no clue how the hotel would be as we booked it last minute just from website photos, but we made a great decision. Staff was extremely friendly. It has very unique French design characters and detailing all around the hotel.
Location was amazing. Instead of staying all touristic atmosphere we prefer to stay somewhere which allows you to see daily life of locals and French people. So we were absolutely amazed here. Our stay was great ! it is very convenient to catch underground station called “ Brigette Sabine “. There are great eating and night out locations near by such as traditional cafes and bars.
I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Exceptional service. Superb clean rooms and fantastic facilities.
Nice room (even if there is no tea pot) and good receptions but we have a very bad experience. First we asked for a blanket because it was super cold in the room and it took more than 1 hour and 2 calls to obtain it (well, we did not get a blanket but a duvet...). The breakfast was an unbelievable experience. It took us 1.30h to finish...the pastries arrived at the end when we already finished everything, a few orders arrived wrong, we ordered a matcha latte from the menu and they said they did not know how to do it. There were only 4 tables with people and everybody had to wait hours to get it...unbelievable for a "5-stars" hotel. I cannot even imagine when the hotel is at full capacity. In addition, they have a restaurant (even if the menu is the poorest I have ever seen) but no in-room dining. You can order breakfast, but nothing else. This is not acceptable. Honestly, i would not rate it more than 3 stars hotel, even if the price is definetely 5stars. And to conclude, while I am writing this, I am still waiting for towels and toilet papers (which they forgot to let in the room while cleaining)...30 min has passed so far.
Charming rear courtyard serves a small but perfectly formed menu. Probably the best octopus I've ever tasted and the chef was more than happy to explain every step of how he achieved it. A real gem.
We stayed here with our two boys. We had connecting rooms. We loved this hotel so much. It's in a great location, it's gorgeous and the staff was so friendly. An amazing experience overall. Plus the small pool and steam room were a lovely way to end a day of walking around the city, and great for the kids.
