Oh my goodness, I cannot sing the praises of this hotel enough! We were 2 adults & 2 kids visiting Paris for 1 night before a 4 night stay at Disneyland, initially booked for May 2020 including a hostel stay in Paris and a Disney hotel with a pool due to my kids love of swimming. Cancellations and amendments rolled in through the year due to Covid, and the final dampener on our plans was our Disney hotel having to close their swimming pools... So I made it a mission to find a nicer hotel in Paris with a pool to make the Disney stay a bit less disappointing for the kids.
I fell across Les Matins on Booking.com after failing to find anywhere else with a legally operating swimming pool during covid restrictions, and was instantly sold by the private pool, Junior Suite, and the attentive responses to my queries (shout out to the very lovely Charles!) aswell as the amazing price. The hotel exceeded every expectation, it is simply stunning and I wish we didn't only have 1 night stay! The room was perfection, the bathroom and shower were perfection, the spa was beyond perfection... I could go on!
Special thanks for the lovely little touches, Teddy bears (❤️ the kids loved these even though they're too old for teddies now, they make sure they were packed to come home with us as a souvenir!), toiletries and slippers for the kids, robes and slippers for us, world beating front of house service from genuinely lovely, accommodating and friendly people, and a spiral staircase that made me never want to take the lift, a truly stunning design that I fell in love with. I definitely recommend a stay here make sure you book the spa access!
Incredible value for money hotel. Amazing facilities and such a lovely feel to the place. The staff were so welcoming and helpful to say my girlfriend and I were a bit nervous for our first time in Paris. We couldn't have asked for a better experience for staying in Paris.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Communal areas of the hotel were great and very well presented and the location was perfect. The addition of the spa was a real bonus. The only negative was the room service we ordered, it was very disappointing and over priced €6 for a fruit salad that consisted of a few sloppy slices of orange and grapefruit! And the pasta was simply gross. But apart from that we loved the hotel and would definitely visit again ( we just wouldn’t order room service)
We were very pleased with this boutique, clean and well run hotel. This was a last minute deal and we had a small room at the rear of the hotel. Although it was quite small and space to put clothes was limited there was ample space for our needs for a short weekend break. The room was spotless, stylish with good quality decor and furnishings. It was quiet and the bed very comfortable. All hotel staff were very pleasant, efficient and attentive. Our only criticism would be that when the shower was used by the people in the room above us early in the morning it could be clearly heard.
