Friendly staff on arrival, spacious hotel, big rooms, ours was airy and bright, very clean and tidy, everything worked properly, breakfast was fantastic, lots to choose from. The location was great. The furniture in the room looked like it had had a hard life though. However, the price reflects the condition.
My daughter and I had a wonderful five-night stay at the Da Vinci Hotel. The hotel and the rooms are small but elegantly decorated. The hotel is conveniently located in the Saint Germaine neighborhood, with many art galleries, beautiful local stores, and restaurants. Staff were very kind and we appreciated the relaxation time that the spa provided after our long days visiting Paris. We recommned it!
We had a lovely stay at the hotel Da Vinci, the neigbourhood is brilliant, hotel is very clean and the stuff is super welcoming. We didn't like our breakfast in the room but the overall experience was excellent. Thank you :)
Hotel looks much bigger online. The hotel is very cramped with a bad layout. Reception desk/ entrance cramped. Chairs very low to the ground. Had maid trolley outside our room with a lift an other room an a staircase there was almost no room to enter/exit. The room was tiny, you could just about live around the dudes of the bed. Very full an dark with a low beam ceiling. The toilet is in a tiny separate cupboard basically an the sink is in the bathroom. We where not told that the pool had to be booked, so we had to take a booking for midnight. When we where given our key we made our way to our room an was met with the maid trolley an a male member of staff in the room with food take away rubbish, very strange with no explanation he just left! We had asked for a different room but they where apparently fully booked. So we ended up moving to a different hotel.
The room/hotel is over priced for what it is an it’s facilities.
I have stayed at this hotel twice now, and both times were perfect. The decor and room amenities are spot on and *BEAUTIFUL*. The attention to detail is exquisite. The room is small, but who cares! You'll be spending most of your time exploring Paris, and when you return to your room, it is a cozy, beautiful oasis for you to relax in. I would never hesitate to recommend this hotel!!! The staff are all so knowledgeable and kind and ready to give you any information/advice you may need about Paris. Just perfect :)
