Reviews from visitors:
We booked our holiday to Cyprus last minute as our other holiday got cancelled due to Covid. The Avlida hotel clean, spacious and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food for breakfast and lunch was nice, diner not so much. Many restaurants nearby though. Room very spacious, had a kettle and very fast free Wifi. Was clean but there was room for improvement such as providing daily bottled water and coffee/tea. Very large pool area, mostly empty as only a few guests because of Covid. We did notice that when guest left they went to change the filters of the air conditioning and rooms were completely stripped. Hand sanitizers and gloves available.
Again can't compliment the staff enough, especially Dimitri the waiter and the reception staff. As we left to go back to the airport, the receptionist came running out as we had not taken the deposit money.
Overall very impressed and satisfied with the staff and treatment we had under these difficult times for them.
We were there for a weeks holiday and we can honestly say that we are impressed. All the staff were very polite. Lots of restrictions due to covid but we did not feel if affected us. Good food always, tasty. Location wise it has a beach across the road and to the right a bit. Lots of restaurants etc to the left of it, walkable all.
Very Good stay. Cleaning obsessive staff. Wonderful pool area. Could be good for families with kids as well. Large room and good view from it. Shop around for prices as fluctuating largely
Lovely staff and very relaxing atmosphere. Food excellent, never heard of anyone complain. If you do have a problem it's taken care of straight away. The room we were given had a good view of the pool and the sea, was also really big with netflix on telly and nice hot power-shower. Nice mattress, the night’s sleep was always very comfortable. WiFi, no issues there, one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Hotel seems very recently renovated in many areas. Pools are large and the outside areas feel really homely. Had some good laughs at the bar with other travellers. Masks and so on, these were not big troubles. Everything seems safe, super clean and well organised, taking temperatures of staff, keeping distances and so on. Really small disturbance to be honest, and probably a necessary one too. Last thing, if you're an outdoorsy type, this is a good choice. With 2 bus stops right outside the entrance, the harbour at a 15 minutes walk through a tourist's road, a beach across the road and the old town right around the corner, I don't know what better location we could have been at. I didn't rent a car, wasn't needed. All in all a fantastic decision to go to the Avlida and we’ll definitely be going back there next year!
Great location. Very friendly staff. Entertainment very low key it's ok if you like Neil Diamond or that era. Food edible but bread very hard. I would stay again as pool and location ideal but probably on a B&B basis.
