Reviews from visitors:
If I was rating the view and the walk to the beach it would be a easy 5.0 that was the most amazing part. The hotel definitely needs a renovation. We rented two rooms the one room had a mini fridge and microwave, the other didn’t have either. In one room there was a hole in the wall under the ac, the doors have to be slammed to shut other wise they don’t shut. We were hoping to enjoy the pool, it said it was heated and unfortunately was not. If you don’t care about where your staying or just want a place to lay your head and want a beautiful view I would recommend.
This property needs to be updated bad. The room smelled awful, not to mention no mini fridge nor microwave. The balcony rails was not very secure so I absolutely forbid my kids to go out there because we were on the 5th floor. The elevator was problematic so after the first incident we took the stairs the entire week. We didn’t feel safe there after a hotel worker was shot. Overall it was just a terrible experience. In reading reviews I always give things the benefit of the doubt, but I wish I had listened in this case. If you care nothing about comfort, cleanliness or safety then you might like this property. It’s right on the road so it’s super noisy. I will say it very close to everything so that part was nice.
I wish I could rate things separately. We came down for our anniversary with intent to spend most of our time exploring which we absolutely did. So if I’m rating proximity to the beach (10 steps out the back door and your feet are in the sand) and restaurants I give 5 stars no problem. The view from our balcony was amazing. HOWEVER: the room itself was bad. We didn’t have any bugs however our toilet wouldn’t flush, our a/c wouldn’t kick on unless it was set at 60 and then only for a few seconds. Loud neighbors with blaring music. No phone in the room, no refrigerator in the room. No outlets to charge phones by the bed. We had to unplug stuff to charge our phones and watches. So as far as the room I give 2 stars. If you’re just needing a place to sleep this hotel suffices that. If you want to spend time in a comfy room, stay somewhere else.
Booked two rooms , one for the kids and separate one for me and my boyfriend. He had our room set up really nice and romantic only to find a bedbug on the pillow, staff was not friendly at all and one of the staff said they had the room inspected and never had bedbugs only to turn around and admit that the hotel was known to have bedbugs! The price really reflects the quality of the hotel.DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
A set of our towels went missing. We told the front desk but the lady just smirked at me & said no one had been in our room ( maintenance was supposed to come check our shower because it wouldn't turn off & it was off when we got back) The next time we came back to the room the towels were in the bathroom wet & hanging on the towel bar. We didn't leave any towels in the bathroom because of the shower would make me damp.... My stuff was moved around & things where any different bags than I had packed them. If we come back we using our own towels & putting locks on our bags.
We had a King room. The room was fine, clean, came with a small fridge, a table with two chairs, two outside chairs. There is a window unit that looks very old but the heat worked great(too cold to try the air). A TV with cable, sink is outside in restroom. The tub scared me definitely bring shower shoes. We didn't have a mat so we put down a towel so we didn't fall getting out of the shower. The shower constantly dripped but you couldn't hear it with the bathroom closed. Both outside doors you have to use some force to open and close. On the beach with beach access. Walking distance to sharkys & there is a pool. This is also a open to the outside not a hallway hotel.
