It was alright. Bed was comfy enough. No fridge, or microwave. Glad I took my own coffee pot. TV only had 1 channel. The view was lovely on the bottom floor, but folks overhead were spitting junk onto the patio. Spring break. We survived...and we're older folks. Maintenece crew helped me when my door lock malfunctioned. Were friendly/helpful.
The room and whole property was gross, the staff was rude, they charged my card twice and acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about when I literally showed them on my bank app. No one ever answers the phone, parking was horrible. The room looked like a jail cell. If I was staying more then one night I would’ve went and found something else. Next time I go I am definitely spending the extra few hundred for a nicer place.
OMG! Worse experience ever. Let me begin by saying the people at the desk are horrible. The woman was very rude they also NEVER answer the phone. Did I mention there was not a phone in our room? or a microwave, or a fridge, or a remote, not even wifi. None of this information was listed on the site at the time of the booking. There was also water leaking from the roof and the toilet was filthy. We called multiple times during our two day stay and we were never able to reach anyone. Also the hotel shares parking spaces with a restaurant next door. At one point there was literally no where to park we seen housekeeper and asked what we should do her response was to find somewhere else to park. please save yourself the headache and don’t book her
If It Wasn't For The View And The Location, This Hotel Would Easily Go Out Of Business. Currently There Is NO Front Desk Staff On Property, There Is No Wi-Fi, And No Sense Of Property Security At Any Given Time. Currently If You Stay At The Reef, All Of Your Check-In/Check-Out Process, Concerns, Inquires, And General Requests Have To Be Handled By Another Property Called The Seahaven Hotel Down The Road Past The Restaurant 'Sharkey's'. So, Try Not To Deactivate Your Key. This Could Really Be A Great Property But Without Respectable Customer Service, Regular Room Repairs And Maintenance, Or Front Desk Staff, The View Isn't Even Worth It. Save Your Money Until This Property Can Really Get It Together.
Terrible place to stay. Came into our room with no fridge, no microwave, no hairdryer, no trash cans, it was filthy, table hasnt been wiped off, tv channels wasnt clear and the room nxt to us were very disrespectful and playing loud music and screaming and hollering all night up until 5 in the morning!
