This is a great property for Marriott, and especially unique for the Spring Hill Suites brand.
While I wouldn’t consider the room a suite by any standard, they are comfortable, clean and relatively modern or at least recently renovated or refreshed. The layout is a bit odd, due to the bathroom and the barn door right in the center of the space.
The beds are comfortable, but not luxurious. The bathroom is spacious with good counter space and separation. The shower was slightly low in water pressure and the shower head dated but adequate.
Huge bonus for having both a refrigerator and microwave, which makes it easier to bring leftovers back from restaurants or store some healthy snacks.
Our room is facing the ocean, and this hotel is literally right on the beach. Beautiful panoramic views from the balcony. This place almost has a cruise ship vibe.
The highlights in addition to the views and proximity to the beach are:
* The Pool - spacious deck area with lots of tables and chairs for lounging all day, a great use of the space with a lazy river, zero entry end and a bar at the other end.
* Ice Cream - pretty unique having an ice cream parlor, and genus. You can smell the freshly made waffle cones from the pool area, and the flavor selection is great, they also have shakes, etc.
If we come back to PCB again, this is the only place we would stay.
Room was very clean and nice! Just as advertised! Amenities are beautiful and the on-site eateries and bars are nice to have, as well as the included breakfast buffet! Staff working these areas were amazing! The pier is very close and the easy beach access was perfect. The only inconvenience was the elevator wait. It was much easier to just take the stairs. We will definitely stay again!
I stayed for one night with my sister and loved every moment at the hotel. The hotel is in a great location which is a big plus for women. Safety is one of my biggest concern when travelling and I felt safe at the hotel. What makes this hotel EXCEPTIONAL was the staff! Kevin at the front desk did an outstanding job of welcoming us to the hotel and attending to our needs. We had a minor issue with the TV remote in our room and the maintenance crew fixed it in no time. The rooms were clean, had a great beach view, had comfortable beds and very quiet. The guests wore masks and observed the safety distancing especially in the elevators. I will recommend the hotel to my friends and will be back for a longer vacation and stay at the hotel.
Final thought: Please don't stop the exceptional service!
This hotel is beyond words to properly describe. My wife and I had read before getting to the hotel that parking was going to cost us $15 per day. Upon arrival at check in, Tony took care of us as if we were regulars of the hotel. Because it was our first time staying at the hotel, Tony waived the parking fee. He then proceeded to give us a room with a spectacular ocean view. The hotel breakfast was delicious as it was one of the best that we'd ever eaten at a hotel. Believe me, this was a REAL breakfast and not the blah type of hotel breakfast that is normally given. The hotel itself also has it's own restaurant and lounge and the entire facility is very well kept. I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE that plans to stay in PCB. And before I forget, when you check in, ask for Tony!!!!!
The staff is courteous and attentive. Our room spotless. However it’s concerning that guests especially riding in the elevators are ignoring clearly posted mask mandates and putting others at risk as well as employees who were working the bar unmasked. I understand that you can not force guests but staff should comply with the posted signs. Please lead by example.
