Gorgeous views, wonderful and friendly staff, and clean rooms (without the smell of overpowering chemicals). This hotel is right on the beach, and we had a balcony view right over the water. It’s beautiful!! Parking is safe and included (just use your room key to pay for parking in the parking garage across the street). Staff was super kind and friendly. The woman at the front desk waved and said hello any time we came or left!
We loved this hotel! It was clean, great free breakfast and very nice staff! Andy went above and beyond! The room was awesome and our kids loved the bunk beds & indoor heated pool! Beds were super comfortable! Super convenient location to shops & restaurants! We’re looking forward to going back again in the summer to enjoy the outdoor pool & lazy River! Beautiful view!
The manager Lisa Johnson made sure my check-in was an easy process. The hotel isn't an updated hotel but I had no issues. Great location! The served breakfast was delicious & plentiful. It was a line but it ran smoothly. Parking is limited at the hotel in which you have to park across the street which can be busy. The pool was refreshing with the music playing in the background.
This place is amazing for the price. We stayed 2 nights and could see the ocean from our window. Don't let the reviews scare you. There were NO roaches and many people were saying. And the rooms were clean as well as the sheets. The staff was nice. The board walk made it easy to access the beach as well as food and cocktails. We didn't have to go far our whole trip. From now on my family and I will book here for our stays in PC.
If I was rating the view and the walk to the beach it would be a easy 5.0 that was the most amazing part. The hotel definitely needs a renovation. We rented two rooms the one room had a mini fridge and microwave, the other didn’t have either. In one room there was a hole in the wall under the ac, the doors have to be slammed to shut other wise they don’t shut. We were hoping to enjoy the pool, it said it was heated and unfortunately was not. If you don’t care about where your staying or just want a place to lay your head and want a beautiful view I would recommend.
Arrive and it looked as our room had already been broken into. While preparing to go to the beach our daughter began to cry and say they foot hurt, upon investigating she had stepped on a tack strip from where the carpet was coming apart and exposing the tack strip. While walking to the stairs one of children almost twisted their ankle from stepping in a hole where the concrete was chipping away. Hotel sits on the beach but stay at your own risk, upkeep is not a priority here. Definitely not worth more than $50 a night. Sent pictures with an email to the general manager who stopped responding after receiving my email. Well over a month and haven't heard from him. There were some good staff members there but there were also people who seemed to dislike their job. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.
Update - Regional Manager was great at resolving my issue. She also stated they were sending a maintenance crew over to work on this hotel. Don't know if it happened but the location is awesome and if they do some upgrades and bring it up to a Ramada standard this will be a good place to stay.
Came for my birthday 3.4.21 through 3.7.21. The room was clean but dated. The staff was nice. Each day the room was cleaned and my husband added a romance package was nice. The view of the ocean was beautiful from our room.
The only issues was that our toilet ran all night and our upstairs neighbors caused a bit of noise with what sounded like kids jumping but it did stop by 10pm.
All in all, for the price we would come again.
Love our room so much!! The decor is so cute and the set up is very nice. You can see the ocean from the balcony. There's a cute little kitchen with a mini fridge and mini stove top.
So happy to have found a Pet Friendly Hotel that accepted our Huskies!! Red roof Inn front desk laughed at me and was INSANELY rude! When I called here the front desk was so kind and accepting! Check in was super smooth (business trip and clients were covering the room so that usually makes for hectic check in, but their staff rocked it!). We had a small car issue and had to extend our stay and they were so flexible with us! Friday Night Check in and Monday extending front desk ladies were so Kind and Helpful!!! House keeping staff and Maintenance staff were also really friendly with us! No one ever made us feel unwanted.with the dogs (which happens a lot). The rooms were on the smaller side but overall a bit nicer than expected for a pet friendly hotel. I know all to well how you can't have nice things with dogs haha! They definitely keep up fairly well! The breakfast was amazing for being continental! They had hot waffles!!! The juice selection was fabulous. We will definitely be back next time. A great value at a VERY affordable price!
This place is excellent! Beautiful condos with beautiful views! We booked through Vacations Perfected. Communication was top-notch. The family really did enjoy the pool. We can't wait to return.
This is a great property for Marriott, and especially unique for the Spring Hill Suites brand.
While I wouldn’t consider the room a suite by any standard, they are comfortable, clean and relatively modern or at least recently renovated or refreshed. The layout is a bit odd, due to the bathroom and the barn door right in the center of the space.
The beds are comfortable, but not luxurious. The bathroom is spacious with good counter space and separation. The shower was slightly low in water pressure and the shower head dated but adequate.
Huge bonus for having both a refrigerator and microwave, which makes it easier to bring leftovers back from restaurants or store some healthy snacks.
Our room is facing the ocean, and this hotel is literally right on the beach. Beautiful panoramic views from the balcony. This place almost has a cruise ship vibe.
The highlights in addition to the views and proximity to the beach are:
* The Pool - spacious deck area with lots of tables and chairs for lounging all day, a great use of the space with a lazy river, zero entry end and a bar at the other end.
* Ice Cream - pretty unique having an ice cream parlor, and genus. You can smell the freshly made waffle cones from the pool area, and the flavor selection is great, they also have shakes, etc.
If we come back to PCB again, this is the only place we would stay.
Wonderful every thing was a 5 star. Stove, full size fridge, dishwasher, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, on shower wall. Cook pan, dishes, loved long desk, plenty towels, etc and loved texture.. Shower head tall, mist of all loved the clerk and his welcome. The room with snacks, etc also had dinners, ice, coffee & drinks. Loved the set up, large room, bathroom actually had closet w hair dryer, iron and board. We absolutely loved staying here! The room was clean and the how was great.view were great. The location is convenient. What I loved most was the staff. Monique and Celene were friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to be helpful. We will definitely be back.
Perfect on the water hotel. The view from our oceanside room was outstanding. The rooms are fresh but the beds are a bit dated. Nothing that took away from our experience. Just minutes on foot from local food and shopping. Hotel staff is prompt and professional. We will stay here next trip.
I can't say enough about this resort. The amenities are fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding. The bar at the pool is outstanding. Everyone treats you with courtesy and friendliness and helpfulness. I highly recommend this resort to families and anyone looking to have a relaxing time at the beach at Panama City. The rooms are clean and comfortable and spacious.
It was alright. Bed was comfy enough. No fridge, or microwave. Glad I took my own coffee pot. TV only had 1 channel. The view was lovely on the bottom floor, but folks overhead were spitting junk onto the patio. Spring break. We survived...and we're older folks. Maintenece crew helped me when my door lock malfunctioned. Were friendly/helpful.
Artistic, eccentric, bohemian, crafted menus daily, and laid back conversations on the porch, all rolled into one. A must “stay” for the beach lover and history buff alike. Your hosts will send you back home as family, with you readily planning the next “reunion”. Absolutely a genuine treasure of the emerald coast, a block away from beautiful Laguna Beach.
Being that we arrived in town earlier than expected, I was able to call and get an early check in. When we arrived everyone at the front desk was welcoming and politely me and my family. Our room was spacious and clean including the balcony. When we asked for fresh towels housekeeping had it in no time. The breakfast staff was nice as well and had gloves for guests and very attentive to making sure the breakfast bar stayed stocked and clean. Upon checking out the manager allowed my daughter to receive a book from their selection to take on the road. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be returning to Country Inn.
