Even though this Guesthouse might have the Fixtures and Fittings of a 5 star hotel, it does NOT offer comfort or a peaceful nights stay. The Location is great its close to the coastline beach, apart from that.. :
1. The Mattress is too Hard to sleep on (Brand New)
2. The Loud Hum from the Mini Bar fridge in the bedrooms is very loud and extremely annoying especially in the night.
3.There is NO GLASS AT THE WINDOWS of the smaller rooms, instead air vents and shutters, which means you can hear everything outside, all the traffic and the Guesthouse is situated on a very busy road for Sicily/Palermo, there is constant noise from traffic on the road.
4. The AC in the smaller rooms have been installed over the beds directly, which again is noisy when you sleep and uncomfortable with the noise and air directly on the person sleeping on the bed.
5. Due to there being no glass in the windows you get mosquitos constantly in your room at night.
This hotel looks good from the pictures and photos on display, and offers breakfast with the booking. However the Host is very unprofessional, Riccardo D’arrò. If you raise these issues with him in regards to the room, he will get immediately offended and then treat you badly for the remainder of your stay!
I wouldn't stay at this hotel for more then one night If I have to, and the bigger rooms cost extra... the smaller rooms just aren't right.. look great, but do not function as a good hotel room.
I would definitely choose other hotels close by even if they are slightly more expensive as this was not worth the money I paid for, the attitude of the Hotel Manager is not right and the other issues I've already mentioned make this a bad hotel to stay at!
Beautiful villa, extremely polite and respectful personnel - very well mannered! The room was modern, stylish and well furnished. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Coffee was awesome! You can't go wrong with Villa di Nera! Grazie mille, ragazzi!
Extra friendly people. The room was beautiful and clean. Quality breakfast was served every morning.
