Convenient location and great facilities, Clean and tidy room.
New towel provided everyday but need to call to front desk for bottle water replenishment if you have chosen no cleaning service.
You may request to stay on 8/F for easy access to smoking area on the same floor.
The mattress is relatively hard with a thin pillow. Only 1 pillow provides per person and extra pillow may not be available if you request at late night.
“Different types of pillows are available” showed on the digital guide on TV but it is not true.
It's not a five star hotel by any means but it's amazing for what you get! Free drinks and noodles served every night and an onsen/spa which was an amazing experience. Well located for exploring the city and finding good or entertainment. Friendly staff and great service as well. There is also a convenience store attached to it - for your convenience.

Yes, the room is small but the price is fair and comparable to other places for what you're getting. I think this was built fairly recently so everywhere looks new and clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There were a few receptionists that could speak English fluently so that really helped.
Location is right beside a Lawson convenience store open 24 hrs so you can quickly make a trip downstairs for anything you may need including a late night meal. It's also a 5 to 10 min walk from key areas like Dotonbori (the food/shopping street where every tourist is hanging out until the late hours) and a subway station.
Even though we had a shower in our room, I loved going to the public bath in the top floor which is no extra charge for access. You can take a shower, soak in the hot tubs, and use the sauna that has a TV. They also have 2 coin massage chairs, and coin laundry with coin dryers which was so useful (just ask the reception for a key so you can lock your machines and don't have to worry that someone's gonna steal your clothes while you're away).
Highly recommend this place.
Dormy Inn is our choice when we visit city area in Japan. There are 2 dormy inn opposite to each other, Dormy Inn Annex has a larger entrance.
Wonderful price value ratio. Hotel also free Japanese noodle every night from 9:30 to 11.
