The Rock Star Hotel in Kyoto provided our family with a welcoming experience with friendly staff, clean modern rooms, and a fantastic communal kitchen/bar.
The rooftop bar provides a fantastic open air location for a few drinks, and the place also has a cool lounge/club to enjoy on weekends.
Located close to the Hommachi station subway, take exit number 23 then its just a short walk.
Highly recommended if you want a clean friendly place with a modern funky vibe.
It did the job! The staff is kind enough. Rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and the common area are clean and well equipped. The shared room bed has power outlets and a curtain that gives you some privacy. Comparing to other hostels I've been, it's not thaat near the touristic places, but it's ok. Check in and check out process are easy. Maybe next time in Osaka I would try another hostel.
Really nice hotel, especially for the price.
It's a shame that some parts are closed due to corona, but it shows how seriously they're taking the situation.
The best part is that they have complementary bottled water for guests. It's a great touch and considering how hot the weather can get in Osaka, it might literally be a life-saver!

Was lucky enough to stay in one of the suite rooms. Amazing night view from room and bath! Very friendly and helpful staff too. I've never had an experience like this before!
The correspondence of the staff is very good. The bath and toilet are very clean

Hotel Yururito is a very lovely and quiet hotel. The staff are polite and they try their best to accommodate our requests despite the language barriers. Free breakfast is healthy -- I love the croissant. The bathroom is nice -- I love the shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand and face foam, bath salts, and other bathroom amenities. The only low point is that the hotel is far from places that we're visiting during the trip. Well, not their fault
We booked 2 rooms for 6 people for 3 days / 4 nights, the room had bunked beds. Though the room was smaller compared to what we were used to, but it was very close to the grocery store so we were able to buy our dinner at a cheap price. A tip for saving money.
Great atmosphere and good selection of drinks. I came to the bar with my friends and enjoy a craftbeer. There're a lot of foreign beers, and not the same mexican beer of always (I'm talking to you you Corona beer) .... instead Modelo negra beer , I love it!!!
The owners are so friendly and kind! They speak English and a little bit of Spanish , we had a good chat.
If you come to Osaka I totally recommend you have a drink here.
Amazing hotel. Friendly staff in a very convenient area in Osaka and reasonably priced free drink bar for guest face masks and tea. It was really clean modern and the bath was colourful.
New hotel everything is new. Location wise, it's within the shopping district of Shinsabashi and close to many different restaurants. If you travel with lots of luggage it is a little cumbersome using the metro to get to the hotel. However, once you know your way it becomes very easy.
Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. I stayed in a triple room with my family and have enough space for 2 large suitcase plus room to move around. I particularly like the bathroom, it comes with a bathtub if you want to relax or the shower to freshen up. The bathroom is big and comes with everything you need.
Staffs are friendly, and are good in English. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Osaka. Recommended
An amazing place to stay in Osaka, definitively NEVER BORING, very occidental and made to measure as the Moxy we all know worldwide but tropicalized perfectly in style and with Japanese taste elements. The rooms absolutely gorgeous and very very very big and spacious compared to other hotels. The lobby it's the best, simply crazy! multi functional in which you can do check in/out, order drinks in the bar, have a coffee instead, or even listen to live music when local groups do presentations!! or else chill. A total recommendation even if you do not stay, go get some drinks & fun!!
Excellent hotel with great location. Close to train station. Many food choices surround the hotel. Excellent receptionist. Excellent cleaness. Good job for the cleaning deputy. Excellent detail amenities. Will come back again surely.
An amazing little guest house with the best curry in Osaka! Staff are super friendly and very helpful and Knowledgeable! Non-chan girl who works the coffee area makes a great cup off coffee in the AM! All the showers, bathrooms, and beds were super comfortable and clean. I really loved hanging out in the common room at the end of the night because of the cool slide doors with a bonsai tree on them. Some of the staff told me that the hotel is super old and their might be ghosts!! LOL love it! Prices are reasonable around 25-40 USD. Location is good and train line is easy to get to! If you need a rest and want somewhere cheap to stay this is it!
The hotel is not big, located in a small street so it is quite quiet, good location to walk around, the room is small but clean and fully equipped. Especially the hotel uses auto check-in, automatic reply and the dinosaur robot model is very lively and attractive, this is a highlight of this hotel.
Very nice choice for solo travellers. I have stayed in the hotel 2 times, and it was an awesome experience. It's supposed to be a capsule hotel, but the room has a closet and a safe, and the room is actually quite spacious. They also provide everything you would need during your stay, including very comfortable pajamas
