The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was clean. The family suite was perfect and loved the bunk beds for my boys. Nice washer and dryer’s for guest to do laundry. Close to universal studios. We will definitely stay here again.

The location is convenient to Universal Studios. The Universal Studios shuttle departs at: 8am, 9am, 10am and 11am. It returns at: 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. The complimentary breakfast served between 7am-9am is no longer a buffet as pictured. It is a Jimmy Dean's breakfast sandwich or store-bought French Toast sticks including a piece of fruit, juice and fresh coffee. I'd say the breakfast has a $6 value.
**For fantastic service, find the young black man with the braids that works at the breakfast. Tip him $20, tell him your room number, the duration of your stay. You may find that breakfast delivered daily and any other needs promptly attended. Very nice guy.
The glass shower doors were off of the tracks when we arrived and would not move. They charge $16 per night for parking. That was an unpleasant surprise.
Pool was big but very dirty inside & out. Our key card worked very inconsistently, one instance we had to wait more than half an hour to get someone to open our door- not cool after a long day out & about. The front desk people told us the wrong times for breakfast and we missed it our first morning- not cool at all. BUT... The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable.
Coming out of Covid - they didn’t have daily maid service - but no biggie compared to convenience, comfort, and friendliness. And price- to be so close to universal. Kim at front desk was amazing, as was everyone who worked here. Any problems or inconveniences were handled immediately. Recommend for sure.
At the time of writing this, my family and I have finally settled in our room. We had been waiting since 2:30 pm, and although I understand covid procedures and having to be clean, the wait time was incredibly long, and they offered no assistance. Our room has a few messy stains on the cover and futon bed, but other than that I guess it is okay. Just really disappointed to have started the first day of my vacation with one of my favorite hotels on a bad note.
