Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Easy access via water taxi or a manageable walk to/from parks. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. Rooms were clean with the most comfortable beds! The early park admission and express unlimited passes were must-have perks. You won't regret your stay at the Portofino Bay!
Wonderful experience! We booked mostly for the on site location and the express tickets, but we also got in some pool time at the beach pool! The slide was surprisingly fast! The lounge chairs were comfy and we loved the oversized pool towels. We ate at the poolside bar, ordered room service and had pizza from Sal's two nights - all of it was delicious and fresh. The water taxis were very convenient (even long lines didn't take too long) and the text customer service line was so easy and quick. We loved our time here and we were so sad to leave. Oh and the beds/pillows are delightful!!! We'll definitely be back. Thank you!
Overall we had a great stay and the convenience to the parks and fast passes were the best part. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star was room service. I love that they messaged us on our phones regularly to check on our needs, but twice we responded with needs that were never met. We asked for trash to be collected once that was never done during our entire stay, and then once we had a child have an accident in one of the beds and requested the sheets be changed, but that was also never done throughout our stay.
Awesome experience! Checked in multiple times via text. Answered questions quickly via text. Did a great job with safety protocols keeping everyone safe. Room was clean with lots of space. It was our anniversary week and they made it special. Kids at the hotel were minimal which is what we were looking for so it wasn't loud all the time.
The hotel is nice. We stayed in a club level room which was great cause it's in the main part of the hotel and the little perks at the hotel were worth it. Continental breakfast in the morning and snacks in the evening with drinks from 5 to 7. During the day you can get sodas and bottled waters for club level rooms only though. The room was big and spacious. The transportation to the parks was by boat and the bag/security checks are done at the hotel. Meaning when you get to City Walk you've done your check in. The only real gripe I have is that hotel charges $29 a day for parking. I find that pretty abusive considering that it's the cost for self parking. It adds up to almost $90 to your bill. That's money that can be used for dinner or merchandise. Especially since it's considered a "Premium" resort.
