This is one of the Universal Hotels. The hotel is beautiful. I had a basic room with two queen beds. The room was ample in size, decorated nicely and clean.
The hotel is like any of the larger ones in Orlando, pricey. You do however get what you pay for.
They offer spa services, room service, pet friendly. There is a bar, restaurant, coffee bar. They have a self-park parking garage you pay per night or valet parking paid per night at the hotel. They have a water taxi or bus shuttle that will take you to City Walk or one of the Universal Parks.
All in all its a nice place to stay.
I'm in love with the lobbygorgeous and it smells amazing. The rum bar super nice love the romantic patio & live music.
We had dinner at the Strongwater Tavern and were served gluten in what were supposed to be gluten free meals. When we questioned it, we were told the gluten ‘was a garnish’. Gluten free meals should not be garnished with gluten. That is quite literally the opposite of gluten free. When we complained, the manager took a really long time to come and speak to us and then smugly asked if we wanted him to call an ambulance. If we had needed an ambulance, it would have been far too late. He seemed to think the whole situation was really funny and that we were making a big deal out of nothing. My friend is coeliac, so it was a big deal to her. Disappointing that this hotel does not take food allergies seriously. It’s a shame because the hotel is really beautiful and our waiter was nice.
Wonderful stay at this hotel. Have tried many of the Universal Resorts, would recommend no complaints.
Our family recently stayed at the resort for 6 nights and had a great time! We’d definitely go back. The property inside and out is beautiful. The kids loved the huge pool. Availability to the water taxi was super convenient. Although there wasn’t room service due to COVID-19, the staff promptly attended to every request. Thanks for a great stay!!
