Absolutely a 5 star resort! Very clean, so much to do on the property and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. Activities to do on the property, close to local attractions and places to eat or drink within a 15 to 20 minute drive. The lazy river and pool were the best part. If you are looking for a little quieter atmosphere you can go to the Ritz next store, more adult themed pool, not as many kids. They had different activities going on. Restaurants were good food was 5 star, but not all were open though. (Which was the only thing we had an issue with) The bartenders were phenomenal, they definitely can make a drink!
This is a great family resort. This is my family's 3rd time visiting this hotel, and we will come back. This hotel is a great way to break up a Disney vacation, either cruise or park. The service we received at the pool, valet, restaurants, and check-in was 5 Stars. My daughter loves the lazy river, which we spent two full days coming back from the keys. The staff around the pool was accommodating and attentive. I wish they had more of the restaurants open or outdoor seating, and hopefully, after Covid, this will change. The rooms are showing their age, but the room was immaculate.
Great stay, we really enjoyed it. Facility is impeccable and service is excellent. We had a wonderful 2 night stay after driving back from South FL - kids loved the lazy river more than the ocean! Thanks for a great stay. Very well managed resort with excellent service, even while it's busy!
We stayed there over the valentines weekend and also for my daughter’s birthday. Our stay was exceptional and everyone was very friendly at the hotel. Two front desk staff I would love to recognize would be Lynn and Scott who were very pleasant to deal with during check in and check out. Our daughter loved every second of the stay and the hotel even gave her balloons and chocolate for her birthday which I thought was so neat and wonderful. Definitely coming back in March for our stay with extended family and I highly recommend this place.
I am currently staying here until Sunday. After reserving a room for 3 adults and 2 children, we were given a room with 2 queen beds. I had to request a cot to accommodate us all on night one.To be told there are no other rooms other than the executive or the presidential suite, that we could switch to, for a fee of course and we did.
After reading reviews of how well kids spent their birthday here we decided to come here for my daughter's birthday. I was specifically told to let the front desk know it was her 7th birthday, only to be looked at as if I was insane. I was not expecting anything grand but I was told they were going to at least let me know what they can do and I heard nothing back. So by 8pm this led to me having to run out and get her something to sing happy birthday with. Luckily, I was able to get some candles from the front desk for her birthday donut...those candles are what brought on the 2 stars.
The hotel itself is clean and the pool nice.
I also very much appreciate the military discount.
