I came here for a dance competition and the hospitality was AMAZING. The lady at the front desk’s name was Frankie. She was so kind, fun, welcoming, and was so bubbly and made our stay her top priority. The food and meals were so delicious and I really enjoyed them. They came in these cute cups and the people who made them wrote sweet messages on the top for us. The design of the hotel was so unique and interesting and so enjoyable not to mention the beautiful rooms. The shower water was so nice and warm, and it came fast. I really enjoyed my stay here at Aloft.
We stayed here for a wedding and it was phenomenal! The hotel is very nice and clean and they even updated us to a suite which I really appreciated. I loved the modern decor and friendly staff. It was definitely worth every penny and I would love to stay again. It's right in the middle of downtown Orlando and it is walking distance to many cool, trendy places.
I stayed at Aloft Orlando Downtown for Halloween of 2015 and was not disappointed. Me and 3 other friends ended up getting two beds and ended up paying around 286 for one night which wasn't bad considering that one person had their car in valet. The room itself was very clean and spacious which came with coffee and some water bottles. My only complaint was that food is fairly expensive however there are several great places to eat within
a 5 mile radius so I'm still able to give this a 5 Star rating. In addition the Aloft has the Wxyz lounge right next to it so you don't have to go to far to party.
When walking into my room it was very warm. The AC read the room at 76°. I set the temperature for 60° and it didn’t feel any cooler. I called customer service and they said it would get cooler when I’m in the room because it has motion sensors. Well, it actually got hotter reaching up to 80°.
I have stayed in many Marriott hotels. This is one of my favorites. I purposely chose this one so that I could experience the Aloft atmosphere. I am a Titanium Elite member, and didn't even have to ask for an upgrade. The wonderful person at the front desk automatically placed one for me. The furniture is cute, I love the design and colors. Pros: I liked how we could order food, even from the snack bar, and have it brought up. The shower head was decent, not high pressure but comfortable. They use Bliss hygiene products and it smelled really nice! The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. We felt pampered. Awesome view! Cons: I wasn't familiar with downtown Orlando and all of the one way roads. The hotel didn't have on-site parking. I'm sure if you drove around you could find parking, I just wasn't feeling dragging my suitcase from wherever and walking to the hotel. Soooo we used the valet service. It is 25$/day. But you could come in and out as many times as you'd like during the day. They were quick and very friendly though. The entrance to the hotel IS NOT MARKED, and can be missed if you don't pay attention. Our mini fridge in the room didn't work. The TV didn't have a guide and it had loads of channels, which made it a pain. I know that sounds stupid but I hate not having a guide. I didn't like the door on the bathroom. It slides open and shut. Not open/closes.
All in all, an absolutely great hotel for pampering, with super friendly staff and a totally different feel/decor than the usual hotel. Oh and it smells wonderful too! I wish I knew what they used! We enjoyed it. I will definitely stay again!!
