Kind staff, nice location, not far from center. Very nice and super spacious suite!
We chose this hotel for our stay on Sardinia as we wanted to go out evenings. The hotel is very close to the center, about 10 minutes by walk, where you will find plenty of restaurants and cafés. The room was spacious and quite clean, nevertheless the carpet needs professional cleaning or should be exchanged. Breakfast was very good, but we would be happier, if there was more variety of warm food. The service was very friendly and helpful.
Basic Mercure with All Comforts
While the Hotel itself might be a bit ‘plastic’ and lack character, it is probably the only one that comes loaded with all teh creature comforts and amenities you can expect from a Higher category Chain hotel
LOCATION: A bit away from old Center, but still at a walkable distance
DINE + DRINK: Lobby level bar good for a pre-drink before heading out into town
ROOM: We stayed in 308, so this review is based on that; VIEW: City View which was nothing much to write about; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: the biggest LOWLIGHT of the stay! Very poorly functioning Air-Con that didnt work, and the room was EXtremely HOT throughout the day!!!; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Good MErcure Quality Cosmetics
FACILITIES: One of the main reasons why we chose this hotel. They have a very good gym used by the locals too - so comes loaded with all kinds of machines, weights and Cardio equipment. Perfect for a full fledged workout!
SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel at home.
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment - but primarily in ITalian language only
Great location close to pubs bars and underground metro.
· Fantastic location. Very close to some nice pubs + bars and very close to the underground metro. Rooms are clean and spacious enough but need ventilation. Two windows in the double room we stayed in however they were both attached to storerooms and hallways.. got quite hot. Soap dispensers in shower and basin were great.
Nice people, beaufitl place, but to many pigeons that live in the main hall; they should really fix this. Service really nice
