Beautiful little hotel, fabtastic ambiente, rooms and service. Only a few meters from the center of Olbia to get food or go shopping.
The one star is for the very friendly staff, but that´s it with the positive aspects. Honestly we can´t understand the very positive reviews before. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon.
For one week with breakfast (a small and mostly sweet breakfast with less choice of sausage and cheese) we´ve paid over 1300 Euro at the end. After the third day we couldn´t stand the brekfast because it was always and every day for 100% the same but also in a very less choice. At the Check-In we didn´t get any information about the restaurant or offered wellness service like massages. We just know that it is offered because of some flyers laying at the recepton desk and by online booking portals. The receptionist were all very friendly, but not informative of what we can do in the hotel in additional.(For example there should be "Motto Dinner" in the evening, like the hotel describes at an online booking portal?) It is not possible to spend the evening relaxing in the hotel because there is no bar. And about the restaurant - which is a few meters separate located from the hotel - we did´nt get any info. Some easy wishes couldn´t get fulfilled, for example german TV channels - the receptionist told us, that there has to be german channels - we zapped the whole programm list twice but there was no german channels for sure! Another day, at my birthday, we wanted to drive to a restaurant about 5 km away. There was no possbility to order a taxi or a shuttle for us. But at a very prominent online booking portal this hotel says that they offer a shuttle. We should even get out of the hotel and look by ourselfes for a taxi (with a description where to go). To order one was not possible. (So we find some and the taxi driver want us to pay 45 Euro for a drive of 5 km oneway. Typical italian rip off everywhere. )
The room and the bath has a normal size, we´ve seen bigger and better for less money many times. We had a rental car because we really enjoy visiting beautiful beaches or places with view. For visiting the beaches we got two beach towels from the reception every morning. At the evening we brought them back. In My opinion this is a normal service for a hotel in this category. BUT at the end, we have to pay 40 Euro for lending the beach towels. Nobody told us that it isn´t free and it was sayed, that there is a notice in the room. We didn´t found a notice in our room where exactly was described, that lending a beach towel cost 5 Euro. Even the smallest thing isn´t priceless, that is not the standard we know from 4-Stars Hotels with such a positive review and a basic overnight price starting from 170 Euro per night. We cannot recommend this hotel and sardinia as well, because the price-service performance is low overall.
Great B&B. The rooms are awesome. Limited breakfast but should be something for everyone. If I could do 4.5 I would only because it's a coffee machine!
Higher class rooms, really friendly staff a great location, it has it all, would not hesitate to recommend this hotel truly wonderful
Excellent room, very nice breakfast and friendly staff.
Room was super modern, fresh and new.
Breakfast had bread, different sausages and cheese. Müsli, yoghurt, juice, mozzarella, baby tomatoes, selection of coffe and te.
Staff had very nice suggestions of which beaches to visit.
Recommend it very much!
