This hotel was pretty, but is a bit run down. It could definitely use some repair work - the wall between the bathroom and the room wasn't very stable, there were missing ceiling panels in the hallway, cracks, etc.
The biggest issue I had with it was the lack of hot water. I was really looking forward to taking a bath with the whirlpool tub, but we couldn't even take a shower that stayed hot the whole time, let alone fill the tub.
The location was good, pretty central on the peninsula and close to the highway to the main land, and the price was right.
We love this initially. Cool old school rooms with half kitchen and good views. However had some serious plumbing and hot water issues.
I can't give it more stars. Management needs to update the furniture. It's not peak season, and so I thought it would be nice. On the positive side, the view is spectacular on the bayside; the sunsets are dreamy. The staff is professional and friendly. Shout out to John. Everyone wore mask and maintained social distance.
Beautiful hotel starting from outside to inside the room's, best hotel ever will not go to any other after staying in this one. I started to tell my friends to stay in this hotel, it had a complete kitchen with all the amenities you need to cook and save money, I did, my husband and I just didn't want to leave..
This is a response to my review where I am told because the timeshare owners have already paid to be an owner and now pay their yearly membership fee generating the same yearly income that there is no interest in fixing until something totally breaks so allowed to just age and age. I am a Wyndham owner. I too paid a good sum to become a timeshare owner and pay monthly maintenance fees that increase almost every year. After reading your response as to why many Cononut Malorie units are not being maintained, I am very happy I did not buy into this timeshare. I have stayed in many Wyndham units all over the country, and all are updated on a cycle and are not being allowed to become shabbier and shabbier. I'm glad they don't take the attitude I have my yearly money and therefore no interest in updating. If I was a Coconut Malorie timeshare unit owner, not individual, I would be complaining that I pay a membership fee and yet the units are being allowed to get to a deplorable state. You have quite a few other reviews filled with complaints. What incentive does your response give any of us to return if we know it's just going to get worse? It has such good possibilities so fix it up. I know when I stay at my home resort or any other it will be in tip top shape. Happy I am a Wyndham owner!!!
