As I never got to actually stay in this hotel itself this review is based specifically off of the service I was given. I was booked to stay one night here Jan. 9, 2021 for a very special anniversary get away. 2 days before we were set to leave I got a call from the hotel stating that a pipe had burst and that the hotel was flooded. She let me know that our reservation was being moved to the Aloft hotel and it would be the same rate and the same room and apologized for the inconvenience. The flooding was something completely unprecedented and is absolutely not what I am writing this review about, things happen and I get that. I asked her multiple times to be sure I was still getting the King sized room I originally booked. That was basically the whole reason I booked at this hotel because of pricing and such. She assured me that I would have the exact room I had booked. Fast forward to the next day when I arrive at a Aloft. The girl at the check in desk let me know my reservation had never even went through and they did NOT have any King rooms available for my stay. I was very disappointed. She also did not have my correct rate and I was initially charged more then I should have been and I had to argue that charge as well to get it to be the correct charge I was promised. When I finally got all of that straight I went up to my room and called the Fairfield. The girl on the phone let me know there was nothing she could do and I could get a refund if I would like and have no hotel room for the night or go down and ask for a discount. I was not comfortable going and asking for a discount and I think that is something the Fairfield should've taken care of. She provided no help in correcting this and no sort of apology. I ended up sucking it up and going on with my weekend but I was not happy. I will NEVER stay at this hotel just due to the customer service and unwillingness to help a customer that I experienced. I feel that their service is very unprofessional. Sometimes it doesn't matter how nice the hotel may seem, but the service is what really sets other hotels apart and this hotel most definitely FAILED with customer service. If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would.
Newer and really hotel!! Unfortunately they ran a special and a lot of folks saw what we did!! And they beat feet, made tracks to the place right behind us!! Nice newer rooms, with hardwood floor! Only issue we had, was the toilet wouldn't stop running when flushed! And the door would close and lock behind you! Guess it depends on how you look at it!! One way, won't lock yourself out! On the other hand, if you don't know about it you could leave your room unlocked!!
Still had a nice view, even though the building sits sideways in the back!!
Still recommend a stay for the price!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Fairfield. Ocean City provided plenty of options for a great trip but we greatly appreciated the cleanliness and precautionary procedures. Once we entered the lobby we felt a sense of security, just the same as entering our room also. This was important to us. We would definitely use this Fairfield on future visits to Ocean City and will recommend to others. Even after working a double shift for some, the staff was very accommodating, nice and made our stay easy! Thank you.
This was an amazing stay! Corissa, the front desk employee went above and beyond to make sure that we had a nice stay by providing us immediate assistance with our room, suggestions of places to go within the area, and her willingness to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I will definitely be returning when I visit Ocean City again.
The hotel was super clean, very welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. Some of the locals don’t appreciate this hotel because they don’t turn people that come for car shows/events away. But, the staff is always accepting, this was my second year staying here for H20i and they helped ensure I had a view towards the highway, and helping ensure it was a great weekend. Definitely recommend this hotel!!
