Had a great Thurs-Sun stay here recently. Staff is very friendly and helpful here. We stayed in an oceanfront room on the 3rd floor and the room was spacious with a mini fridge, HDTV w/ great selection of channels, large couch, and very roomy balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. Beds were also very comfortable and bathroom modern and clean. The location of the hotel is prime too as there is a lot nearby and because the hotel sits right on the boardwalk, so much is within walking distance. Only downside I would point out is parking is very limited, but I wouldn't let that dissuade you from staying. If you're coming here prior to Memorial Day, be aware that many local restaurants and bars close VERY early (9pm in late March), with a progression to later times leading up to Memorial Day weekend.
Great place for the family. Its next to the boardwalk and the beach. It has an inside pool and outdoor too. They serve breakfast now it's continental because of the pandemic but its great anyways. The staff is friendly and respectful. And everything was clean.
I saw another recent review from a hotel guest being kicked out because of their dog. We stayed here with our dog on the same date and had no issues. We appreciated this hotel being dog friendly and was one of the main reason we chose it. Though we did not observe the negative interaction between that guest and the manager, we did see and hear an obnoxiously loud German Shepherd on the breakfast patio that was barking at our dog as we walked by on the boardwalk outside. It looked intimidating and we could see why it might have frightened other guests and made for an unpleasant experience for those that were in the dining room having breakfast at that time.
This was a great place for a getaway. It was conveniently situated, nicely furnished and updated, and very clean. No evidence at all of pet stains or odor which is sometimes an issue with pet friendly hotels. Our rooms were spacious and we had a great ocean view. Staff members were extremely attentive to our requests for extra blankets and emptying trash cans. Parking was convenient. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars was lack of microwave and coffeemaker in room which seem to be a standard amenity in rooms nowadays and I don’t understand why they are made available only ”upon request.”
We have spent a wonderful time in this hotel. Everything is clean, a very beautiful place, quite, with an excellent service and a very respectful staff. So nice people working here. I can't wait for our next visit.
Melody wt check-in was great. Many restaurants were closed during this time due to the winter months, so I appreciated a list of restaurants that were open surrounding the hotel and beyond.
I must also note I felt very comfortable with all the cleaning procedures in place for COVID precautions.
Loved my room on the seventh floor, oceanfront, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves.
