Way over priced. Paid 160 when it felt like an 80 dollar stay. Pretty much an over priced motel. Our room didn’t have any bars of soap when we checked in. Also we could hear their alarm system beeping all night and morning long. We ordered a King Room but the room is so small the bed takes up the whole room. We were supposed to get a king sized bed and really it’s two twin boxframes are put together. One of the lamps we couldn’t turn on because the knob is broken. We were placed in the first floor by the entrance and could hear everyone coming in and out. The window has no blinds so we couldn’t open the curtains because anyone passing by would see us. No breakfast nor coffee. One of the front desk ladies had a poor attitude. The cleaning lady was lovely though. Location was great, close to the beach. The room was clean. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Was very nice.I would actually stay there again. A block from beach an all the restaurants an shops, Beaches were beautiful, Nice big pool.. Rooms an at kinda small, no closet .. Also had to check in at there sister hotel across the street..
I usually do not write reviews but my experience at this hotel was horrible.
Pros: Early check-in. Pool (even though it needed to be cleaned around the chairs). Location.
Cons: Overpriced. Inconvenient check - in, had to walk across the street to sister hotel. Tiny room. Dirty carpet. Loud ac unit. Moldy pillowcases and lamp. Damp. Bed unstable. Dirty towel from previous guest was left behind. Not enough toilet paper. Bathroom light cover (about 3 ft long) fell off. Bathroom smelled like urine. Ceiling had big cracks. Old broken dressers. Noisy. Bad communication, they cleaned out our room before we checked out and threw away our food.
We checked the price again for the hotel it said $64 that is appropriate for the room we had. We paid double that.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The room was awful and looks nothing like pictures shown. Furniture looked like it came off the curb!! There was clearly water damage to the bed Dresser had tape residue all over it! The outlet behind the bed had no outlet cover on it. The bathroom door looked like it had been kicked open with cracks along the side of it. The carpets throughout the place were filthy...we had to call multiple times to even get towels. I was supposed to be satisfied with a 1 night refund, APPALLING conditions and even worse customer service.
FORGET THE HILTON, YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE!!!
Okay so my sister booked the hotel and I didn’t look it up and just showed up. LET ME TELL YOU... I have never had a better time exploring a hotel than arriving at the BUCKINGHAM HOTEL! (I’ve probably stayed at 300+ hotels/motels in my lifetime). First of all there’s barely enough parking spots even though they’re only open at 50% capacity for Covid. Second, you have to go to their “sister hotel” to check in, go to the pool, etc. Third, we get in and go to our 2 bed 2 room hotel. I will repeat... 2 bed 2 room hotel. NOT 2 BEDROOM LOL. The hotel room has these two little twin beds, a nightstand, a chest, a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coat rack. ACROSS THE HALL there is our private bathroom! That’s where the 2 bed 2 room comes in! The room has two beds and the bathroom is the other room. The only smaller hotel rooms I’ve been in have been in NYC and even those had the bathroom within the room. One of the beds is missing part of the structure that holds it up so if you sit on the right side you immediately fall off!!! There’s no balcony or anything else for that matter. We’ve killed two cockroaches since we got here yesterday. The shower curtain is full of nasty mold. I’m 100% staying at this hotel again and I’m requesting the same rooms #203 and #203B (bathroom) just for the laughs. The room may have been inexpensive but the experience has been priceless! Thank you so much! I will be back!
