Online school in the mornings, and beach / boardwalk / Assateague in the afternoons!
The room was spacious and had a great ocean view. The restaurant is closed until March, but the indoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were all open. Masks required and occupancy restrictions due to Covid. Glad they take it seriously. Pet friendly which made me very happy. Easy beach access and centrally located. My only complaint is they tell you not to take room towels to pool, but they had no towels available in the evening and none available the next morning. We called and requested them, as we were in the hot tub and then noticed none were available. Twice the front desk said they would send some down. They never did. Was soaked and tracked water everywhere. Poor service! Will take my own towel from now on. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
This was false advertising at its finest. According to staff none of the rooms are oceanfront despite being described as such. Not compensation or accommodation for the incredulous overstatement. Rooms are clean but at best this is a glorified days inn. Don’t waste you’re money if you expect anything else.
Best Resort in Ocean City... Front desk personnel is amazing... Shout out to Ms. Geri and Michelle... If you need a great conference booking Renee is always welcoming... Plus the food is THE BEST in OC... Don't stay anywhere but the Clarion if you visit OC or you'll regret it...
Horrible customer service. Pet friendly equals being stuck on one floor that sounds like a kennel. 2nd night and the entire floor smells like cigarettes and pot in a completely smoke free hotel. Front desk person wouldn't even look at me while I was talking to her let alone do anything about the issue. Was given a business card when I asked for a manager..what a surprise no answer & no call back.
