We had a 2 night stay and were using our points! It was nice to get away with kids for couple days. They have a small but nice pool. They served breakfast bags instead of hot breakfast but that's understandable with COVID. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and gave us suggestions for dinner. Overall we had a great time and will be back in the summer!
Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The pillows were comfortable but too small. The breakfast was a real disappointment. Prepackaged fast foods- a fruit and a yogurt. The only tea they offered was Earl Grey which my husband does not like. Fortunately he travels with his own tea bags now. The location was good although there are no views of the Bay or the ocean.
Where do I begin? When we arrived they ran our credit card for the amount for the room. Then informed us there was a $50 incidental deposit.. Which was fine and understandable. Checked our bank account when we got to the room. Found they took out the $50 twice! We called down front desk inform them of the mistake and they said they would handle it. Checked my account 10 minutes later only to find they took the deposit out 2 MORE TIMES! Now this was 200 for the room and 200 they took out in deposits. This completely limited our ability to do ANYTHING with our kids on this trip. Their solution was to call our bank and have them stop the funds. But hello! It's Saturday afternoon and banks are closed. So they apologized. But did NOTHING to try and accommodate us for their screw up! They couldn't care less. Even if they offered to comp one of our nights would've been great. But all they did was offer a late check out of 1pm. Which is the same for EVERYONE if they ask for one. I'm just thankful I had the funds in my bank to cover their stupid mistakes. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!
Staff was the best. Every person I talked to was so nice! Room was clean and I liked having a sofa so you're not having to sit in bed the whole time. I went with the purpose of studying and it was silent. (It was a Sunday) Unfortunately, 11pm was when the hallway became super noisy and I woke up about 5x. Little kids yelling in the hallway at 1230am was annoying but it stopped after that. I don't hold it against the hotel. :)
Pros: everything was great ! Bathroom was nice and renovated look, room was spacious ( king suite deluxe?) staff was very nice and professional. I had booked and read reviews that were not so good but the hotel was great ! I came with my infant and they offered a free crib any time I called . Ice cream place in connected parking lot! Great ice cream.
Cons: the pool was “supposedly “ heated but was very cold. Door was alittle loud but nothing serious. Weekends there are no parking so park and walk if your destination is near. Shower head did beam tf out of your back lol but it was cool I guess. You can also smell smoke from surrounding rooms.
Other than that it was nice ! I would book again and I am very hard to please !
