Fair value for city view room without balcony. Updating needed for room.
From the first moment we arrived, when we were greeted in the lobby by the nicest man ever to check us in, I knew it was going to be a good stay. I don't know what his name is, but he was just SO nice. He smiled; he was talkative and gracious, and he just made us feel so welcome. The room was great, with a view of the ocean. The bathroom was very clean. All-in-all, it was a great stay!
The staff was professional and friendly! We had a spacious two queen bed room with a huge bathroom. The room over looked the boardwalk which was great for people watching.
Plenty of parking under the hotel or an over flow lot behind the hotel. Beautiful decor and a business library.
Typical ocean front lodging. It is clean and comfortable. Decor is a little dated. Prices are reasonable. But, OC is the pits. It's just one step up from AC, but "miles" below ocean communities further south.
This hotel was really nice. The room and bathroom were very clean. Very quiet too. Barely heard a noise that wasn't us. Leas than a block from the ocean. The balcony was kind of small but could still see the ocean. The layout of the room was nice. We really liked the overall look of the bathroom. Checking in and out was a breeze. A secure entrance for guests was nice. Only 2 negatives were the bed. Was really uncomfortable. We both had trouble sleeping. Was definitely not a fan of the parking underneath the hotel. It really is not made for anyone who like to back in to their parking spots. With all the pillars, it can make for tight parking. Wish I took pictures to show this. Overall, this was a really nice hotel.
