the rooms were so beautiful and it was so clean and very spacious but my problem with this hotel IS THE OWNER. my family were staying at the hotel and my cousins were visiting us from there hotel. the maid saw them and told the owner. the owner came to our room and started yelling at us. i’ve never been so scared during any of my vacations. the owner was a complete KAREN. if you have family coming to visit you DO NOT LET THEM STEP FOOT INTO YOUR HOTEL ROOM OR ELSE MISS KAREN WILL THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE OF YOU.
My wife and I have been staying there since 1993 the owner and staff have always been very polite and helpful and only stay at breakers

No better place to stay on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland. Been staying there since they opened and would not stay anywhere else. Large rooms, comfortable environment and friendly staff.
The owner of this hotel is the RUDEST women I have ever encountered. My card wasn't working in the elevator (which happened often) so I went to the front desk for help. I got yelled at by this woman for not using the elevator correctly (what?). But then, shockingly, turns out her key card wasn't working. She continued to yell at me and told my parents I attacked her (lol also what???), rolled her eyes, and gave me attitude, which started literally as soon as I approached the desk. I've never been screamed at so dramatically, let alone by the owner of an establishment. They also deleted their Facebook review section which showed a lot of people had the same experience I did.
Me and my Family have been staying at the Breakers Hotel for almost 10yrs straight, and we can always count on having a pleasant stay here, from the Owner to all of the Staff who are all always Professional, Friendly, and Helpful in many different ways, we can always count on having a nice, clean, and safe place to stay at when we come to Ocean City. The Breakers is a nice Friendly Family Hotel, and we are glad that it's not a wild party hotel like some of the others, and that's why we keep coming back. I can only say two words about the negative reviews that i saw here, and that is "Riff" "Raff" go to one of the other hotel's where they don't care about there guests comfort and safety. Thanks to the Owner of the Breakers Hotel for always having a Safe, Clean and Pleasant place for us to stay when we come to the ocean.
