Horrible! First of all, a bed they’ve put in the hall they called bedroom #1. All of the sheets were dirty from the previous guests. No one even bothered to change them and they looked like they haven’t been changed for a while. Instead of the fire alarm the was a wire hanging from the selling. The balcony was full of cigarette butts. I was shocked so were people I’ve invited to this trip. All of them took a bunch of pictures. I was devastated. I tried to ask the staff to clean up, they were incredibly rude, told me to point exactly the spot I want to be cleaned. I was speechless! How about the whole apartment? They told all 10 people I brought that they can turn around and go look for anything else...
There are a number of reasons I dislike this place. Let's start with the positive. Staff is nice. You get 2 stars.
Upon check in which starts at 4, we arrived closer to 6 pm, the rooms were not ready. And ours wasn't the only one. When we did get into the room, I questioned the cleanliness. The bed spread felt like it had sand on it. Husband asked for some money back, the owner or manager states he could cancel our reservation and refund us the money. Seeing as it was getting later and later, we opted to keep the reservation.
The room is sparse, while it contains the standard furnishings, none are comfortable. The bed is the worst. And two tiny flat pillows.
And finally, don't expect to sleep through the night. Not because of the boardwalk. Our room, 206, right next to the elevator. The door to the hallway doesn't muffle any sound. So in the middle of the night, as the drunks get back from the bar or even people in general, you will hear every word clearly.
For the $300 a night, I feel very ripped off. I will not stay here again.
No need to bring your own THC. You can survive solely on the leftover smells from previous guests. (Inhale hard).
Be careful of your balcony neighbors. They may require more privacy for their intimate time on the balcony... When you are out with them.
Bring a helmet. The vents fall from the ceilings. Should probably pack a pair of pliers too for when the bathroom doorknob falls off.
Maybe bring your own shower head? The water pressure is that of a slight drizzle.
Bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows, and shower shoes. Not sure when they were washed last.
Also bring your own lightbulbs. Bulbs not included with lamps.
If the bathroom is occupied, don’t worry! Urinating in bottles and leaving them in the room is completely acceptable. My guess is this urine bottle was not completely full so they left it for us to use. Eco friendly.
The staff were fun. They brought us some towels once.. laughed when I brought them our vent and doorknob (but seriously so did I).
The porch and location is AMAZING! 10/10 recommend the porch.
Honestly, would probably stay again.
This was the worst night ever. My daughter went to pull back the cover and it was ants crawling on the bed. The only thing they offered was new linen. We don't even want to sleep on the bed because of that. Then the ceiling had mildew on it. And they had flies flying around the room and the lobby. This room really ruined my trip for my son's birthday. Will never stay here again. My skin is crawling so bad I slept in the car. Smh!
The bathroom showers were clogged up! Holes in the wall,kitchen drawers missing,ice maker broke,ac barely worked in one bedroom,when we got to ocean city the beach house was not cleaned and we had to wait a extra hour and a half to check in the price for this beach house is not worth it don't waste your money I was disappointed
