A place also to meet people who care about tradition and culture.
B&B very well located in the center of Noto, 2 steps from the main monuments. Laura and Nino welcome their visitors very warmly (homemade aperitif) and serve a breakfast where homemade jams (orange, citron, citrus mix) have pride of place. Room number 2 we got and its bathroom are a bit small. Authentic place for those looking for contact with a Sicilian family.
We have been coming for 10 years now and we have not stopped since the children arrived. Getting to know nino and laura is like entering Noto at the age of Constantine Carasi in the explosion of Noto baroque. Fabulous breakfasts and lots of free and surprising warmth
The kindness of our guests was not enough to erase the big disappointment of a mediocre room, furnished heavily and deco nerdy!
Tiny bathroom, moldy plastic shower curtain on the bottom, dubious XV and dilapidated.
View on a wall that gives a feeling of suffocation.
Synthetic bath towel ....
Sheets ditto ... Small dining room with window on wall! Need to air all this !!!
No kettle to make tea, no fridge ....
Breakfast without fresh produce, no dairy products, biscuits and dry breads ...
In short ... we wonder why (besides the kindness of hosts) the Backpacker recommends this bnb which is more expensive than others much more charming and well equipped!
