Reviews from visitors:
I stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 nights, Feb 19- 21. There are pros and cons to this hotel. It is affordable and the location is good. The bed was comfortable enough. We stayed in a King room, and we were surprised at how small the rooms are. Look at the pictures online, and the rooms are even smaller than the pictures make them look. Also, do not think of the rooftop bar as a perk of staying here. The entrance to the rooftop bar is around the corner from the lobby, and it is basically a different business. The staff told us that we needed reservations to go up there, and the reservations fill up 2 weeks in advanced so... we were out of luck. The bathroom doors are made of some cheap see through plastic. You can see/ hear everything, so not very romantic for couples. This hotel makes more sense outside of covid times, when you want a hotel just for seeing NYC, resting your head at night, and spend all night and day out of the hotel.
The location, bar and restaurant are excellent. We stayed at the 909 bedroom - and I felt like in one doll house. The bedroom was cute but very tiny, having exactly the length of the mattress. Iām 5ā11ā and was almost impossible to move myself during the entire night, since the sound system of the TV was right on the wall touching the foot of the mattress, approximately just 7ā above it, and one frame on the wall by the side of the mattress - so close as the sound system!
Great hotel, right in the middle of everything. Small room but worked great for what we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and I must add, the shower is AMAZING!
The drinks are overpriced the cheapest is like $17. The place didn't live up to the hype. Its a pretty circus / magic theme bar.. but its not as much fun in the winter since you can't do the outdoor games. The food is averange and not worth it. Eat before you go. The entrance is cute. It's almost impossible to find seats.
Love the atmosphere definitely going back ohh the food was very good calamari
