If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The staff were all extremely friendly and made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was beautiful, the location was close to everything we could need. I highly highly suggest staying here if you are going to NYC. You will NOT regret it!
My fiancé Russ and I came back here for a second time. Feline, Moe and Maria were so accommodating and excellent to work with. The hotel was SPOTLESS and extremely clean. We ordered lunch, salmon salad and a burger. It was amazing!!!! We had to cut out stay short due to Russ’ dad taking a turn for the worse and leave a day early but the day we spend was nothing short of amazing. I would highly recommend staying here, I know our next trip back we definitely will.
My husband reserved a suite to celebrate my birthday. Parking was difficult as they no longer offer valet due to Covid but check in was easy and Isaac at the front desk was extremely helpful, pleasant and very welcoming. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and clean and I loved the shower. I only gave it 3 stars because eventhough we felt welcomed upon check in, check out was a different story. We called down for a luggage cart and no one ever came up as promised. We didn't check out at the front desk and instead checked out from the room. I waited in the lobby while my husband walked the few blocks to get the car and noticed I was being watched. First a woman from the front desk pretended to go to the room behind me then after she walked back a large man who I assumed to be security or management came to where I was and just stood there watching me like I just wandered in from the street up to no good. He made me feel not only uncomfortable but profiled. I know it was different front desk staff the next morning so I'm sure they didn't know we just checked in the night before but I didn't expect a side of possible racial profiling while paying top dollar on my birthday.
This place is really nice. The rooms are some of the most spacious and we'll appointed I've seen in NY. This hotel is simply beautiful. The beddings are comfortable and the entire hotel was quite clean. The really need to improve the temperature of the shower. It was lukewarm at best. It was the worst shower experience I've ever had.
This hotel is immaculate. We came here after a very unpleasant booking at another hotel and both the suite and the very pleasant and helpful front desk woman named Selena totally saved the day. I think its important to leave good reviews in these situations and am glad to praise both Selena and The Andaz.
