We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed by the aloof service and lack of amenities. The receptionist wasn’t particularly friendly or helpful. When we had a couple items delivered to the hotel since they don’t have room service, we were told to pick them up from the lobby ourselves as they wouldn’t bring anything up to our room. I had mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and it was not acknowledged at all.
The room itself was beautiful and spacious, but sparse - not much besides a bed and some basic furniture, would expect more thoughtful touches from such a well rated hotel.
I travel around even intentionally but this place is not worth to spend a couple of hundreds dollar for a night. It must have administrative issue which I don't see any basic hotel preparations or general informations for the guests unless you ask. Wondered all employees are trained as hoteliers. Well, at least you may enjoy historical environment.
After looking forward to staying at this extremely cute and charming hotel that is centrally located, the incompetence of the onsite staff was extremely surprising. After several email exchanges and promises that another associate would contact us - we continued to follow-up. The once excitement to stay at the hotel - now sets the scene for an uncomfortable visit.
No longer looking forward to the experience BUT have no other option as one room is already secured. As followers of Condé Nast Traveler, it is disappointing to know that this experience happened.
Great coffee. Online order only due to covid restrictions. Order and pickup avaliable.
Nice outdoor setting but sadly a limited cocktail and snack menu. It cooled down significantly after the sun disappeared but no heat lamps were offered to the tables that were there already. Only to the newcomers.
