The location was perfect. The room was also very clean and aesthetically appealing. My only complaint is that we asked for a change of bedding and we were told that they are only changed every 3 days. We were able to call again and ask for them to just drop everything off so that we could change them ourselves, and they dropped off a set of 2 sheets without a bottom sheet and no comforter. For the money we paid for the room, we expected that we could have gotten the bedding changed. Due to COVID, all restaurants and food/other services are closed which was also a bummer. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Oh! Side note - there is no conditioner supplied. There is only shampoo, body wash and body lotion. For any other long-haired ladies, make sure to pack that!
Didn’t even stay here and I’m already not happy. We received an email from someone named Louis or Louie after a confirmation of an upgrade using our suite night awards that they cannot honor it. This happened to us multiple times. I have over 10 suite night awards that I have never been able to use. The guy didn’t even respond to our email. I guess our loyalty doesn’t mean much. Moving on to better accommodations.
This hotel is a joke. They will try to over charge you so make sure you check your credit card accounts. Here is the story - I just moved out of my apartment in Harlem and decided to stay here. I left an old bag to be thrown away then they decided to charge me for another night because they considered the room occupied. This doesn’t make sense because I checked out with the front desk clerk. Consider another hotel with better service if you can. This situation was so egregious that I had to leave a review.
Accommodating staff. Nice bathrooms and Tv. Good views. Valuable midtown location
Both a modern masterpiece and a work of art, the Le Meridien New York Central Park has been styled to capture the glamorous era of 1920s New York. Expect leather Chesterfield sofas to lounge on and gorgeous lucky vintage shop finds, all of which lend character and atmosphere to this already iconic residence. From the luxury of your room – reminiscent of a cabin room on a seafaring liner – you’ll enjoy bird’s-eye views of Central Park as well as the surrounding city. In fact, you’re well placed to explore all the sights, including the world-famous Tiffany & Co, just a stone’s throw away. There are shops, bars and restaurants galore on your doorstep but the hotel’s The Roof is most definitely a place to see and be seen in. As well as boasting more of those gorgeous views we’ve been raving about, it has a very happening vibe plus the most exciting cocktails on the block. On the street level is Kingside Restaurant, another great place to relax, this time over the finest New American cuisine.
