I stayed here for two nights. I was pretty impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Hardwood floor without carpet, pet friendly, great guest/customer service. You have to tap your room card in order to get to your floor in the elevator. Mr Purple, is a swanky rooftop bar on the upper level of the hotel. This restaurant / bar is a completely separate entity from Hotel indigo. If you would like to dine with them be sure to make reservations as they are always sold out. I stayed at a couple hotels during my recent trip to New York City and this one by far was my favorite. I will certainly be back and cannot recommend them enough!
Incredible stay and awesome staff! Everyone was so nice and very attentive. The water went out for a very short time (on 2/21) and who ever was at the front desk, she was kind enough to bring us complimentary waters to help while they were fixing the issue. On our second morning we had to extend our stay due to an emergency and front desk agent, Jonathan helped us out tremendously. Super grateful for his assistance. Loved the stay and I would highly recommend!!
Supposed to be a high end hotel but the thermostat wasn't working. I dropped it to the lowest setting, which was 45, but it never got cooler than 75. The shower was looking pretty luxurious with a "rainfall" overhead option, but that didn't work. The only option that did work was the one attached to the wall that shot straight out. The windows were also not adequate as we could hear EVERYTHING going on outside which one should consider in "the city that never sleeps".
Mr. Purple has great views and a pool!
Nice and perfectly situated hotel. It‘s right around the corner of a lot of restaurants and subway station.
Check-in is not in the ground floor, but you just had to follow the sign.
The room is surprisingly quiet, which is not standard for NYC and we appreciated that a lot! But it‘s quite small, but that‘s usually like that. The rooftop is quite nice and we had a couple of drinks up there.
