I was able to stay here the last time I was in the city and I loved it. The staff was great and the room was very cute. The rates are about average compared to other places around it but overall, was a chill area to be.
This hotel and the way they manage their business is the WORST. I am an owner of a small mom and pop shop that is barely making ends meet and this hotel has not paid me for any of my services that I have provided 6 months prior to the pandemic. I have called the hotel and emailed multiple times the person that’s supposed to handle the invoices but they have all gone unanswered since April of last year. The hotel and their management have the money to spend millions on buying and renovating this property but just straight up refuse to give me any answer for an amount that is tiny to them but would be a huge help to my business surviving. The way they are handling the situation is downright disrespectful and lacking in customer service. How can they expect to run a business that is supposed to involve great customer service when they don’t care at all.

Didn't hear back at all from anyone at Selina Chelsea property so I reached out to the main corporate office and lo and behold, they told me that someone would get back to me in the next 2 business days. I confirmed with them multiple times that someone would definitely reach out to me. 2 weeks have passed since someone told me that and when I reached out again to the corporate office, all my emails have been ignored, just like how Selina Chelsea ignored my emails. I guess their issues with customer service really stem from how they want to run their business as a whole from the top of the chain all the way down.
Please save yourself the trouble and stay clear of this property and all other Selina properties.
What an amazing stay! The room size is perfect. The mattress feels brand new and extremely comfortable. The room size is perfect for NYC and loved the shower. To be honest, not a single complaint about my stay. Thank you to the GM for his hospitality, and all of the staff. You guys are doing an amazing job.
Super-friendly staff and a casual, relaxed vibe made for a great stay. Interesting location next to the High Line and Hudson Yards / subway.
Stayed here twice, rooms are an interesting design. But it's the team that makes this a great place to stay, Kiko, George amd Jose are all excellent hosts and know how to take care of guests.
