1 The Saint Hotel, Autograph Collection

The staff here is amazing. Bob was very helpful with getting us set up and his professionalism, attitude and demeanor made us feel like we were next door at the Ritz. That being said, our upgraded room cost half as much as a Ritz basic room.
The roomservice food was fantastic. Separate entity, but they took great pride in their food and feedback.
The best shout out I need to give is to the bartender. She gave us some fantastic suggestions of places to try around town and was so kind.
The room was great, comfortable and clean, however the staff here is why we'll be coming back.
2 HI New Orleans Hostel

Hands down one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in. There were a ton of small touches that removed a lot of the annoyances that usually come with staying in a hostel: to get into the building, your room, and your locker you have one key card (no padlocks to deal with), the bunk beds are built directly into the wall so one bed doesn't shake the other, the lockers have small lights that automatically turn on, the beds have privacy curtains that block out light, the lights in the room had two settings to either fully turn on or just turn on at foot-level which was perfect for anyone getting in late or leaving early, there were more than enough bathrooms along the hallway, towels and breakfast are included, laundry only costs $1 and they give you detergent, etc.
Additionally it was super clean and modern, and the location was great. I honestly can't think of any complaints; I would definitely stay here again!

If anybody out there is looking for good deals for hotels browse through ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ booked a resort on there and they had the absolute best prices anywhere!
I loved it. Clean, everyone was friendly. The food was great. Large conference rooms. Beautiful hotel.

Terri, thank you for making my stay and exceptional one! Your kind soul and wonderful customer service does not go unnoticed. Much love from Dallas
5 The Troubadour Hotel New Orleans, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Was close to all of the main attractions without being in the unruly part of town. Close to the trolley system and French Quarter! Well with I'm walking distance.
Deducted a star due to there being an issue with the heat in our first room. However, we were quickly moved and compensated for the inconvenience.
6 Hotel Mazarin

images
A perfect place to stay! Clean, quiet, and walkable to Bourbon St. the staff is friendly. Especially Pierre. The courtyard is so calming and the bed was super comfy. The bars/restaurants in the hotel were not open due to covid but overall a fantastic place to stay.
7 Selina Catahoula New Orleans

Very cool. Rooms are definitely on the smaller side, they aren't bad at all but just something to be aware of. Would definitely stay again!
8 Hotel Monteleone

images
Had a lovely stay here! Staff was very accommodating. Felt very safe and it was close to everything we wanted to see. Room was small but clean and well appointed with a coffee machine, toiletries and a fridge. Appreciated coming home to a sparkling clean hotel room each day. Would definitely stay here again!
9 Quarter House

Stayed here many times since 1993. Wonderful staff, luxurious base station for exploring NOLA'S cool neighborhoods. Originally designed by Henri Gallier, some of the parts of the collection 9th buildings were owned by people of color in the 1880s.
10 Hotel Le Marais

I stayed here twice summer of 19 and each visit was great. Extremely clean!!!!! The staff was very nice, the breakfast was good and the rooms were comfortable.
11 Audubon Cottages

images
Great location, very comfortable and roomy cottages. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only suggestion is to update some of the furnishings, which seemed a little worn.
12 International House Hotel

images
I had a great stay while I was here. I stayed in the Rockstar Room which was very fitting because it had no windows and gave me plenty of time to sleep the day away.
The lobby is exquisite. I mean there's a Banksy exhibit in the lobby what more could you want?!
Parker took care of me my entire stay. I wanted for nothing.
All they're missing is a pool!
13 Le Pavillon Hotel

images
Super comfy beds. Got a room with two queens for a special summer deal for $109. Bathroom is small but the tub/shower is really nice. Rooftop pool is okay. Nothing too fancy, but it was nice to have a dip in the morning. We got free pb&j when we came and the service was generally nice. Pay for parking overnight. It's worth it. Everything will be in walking distance.
14 Olivier House Hotel

images
This hotel is a "hidden gem", in New Orleans not even a block away from Bourbon Street, and a short walk to the French Quarter!
Charming and mystical, the castle-like aesthetic of the hotel feels cozy and unique. The antique furniture in my room was a great feature and really added to the historic feel of the city/hotel.
The staff was friendly, even with my constant coming and going from the hotel, and honestly made me feel welcome from the moment I checked in until I had to unfortunately check out.
Parking is offered valet-style for a reasonable nightly price, and access to your vehicle can be arranged with minimal hassle if you so desire.
Overall, I loved my stay at the Olivier House and they are definitely at the top of my list to rebook for my next trip to New Orleans!!
15 Magnolia Hotel New Orleans

images
Rooms were nice with great big windows for a nice view of the city. Staff was super friendly. Bed was very comfortable
The negative to this hotel was that some of the stuff wore masks and some did not. They have signs before coming in that masks are mandatory so why does this not apply to employees?
No microwave or fridge
Great location
16 Hotel St. Marie

Always a great experience. Super close to Bourbon. Not the friendliest staff. I can only assume it is a miserable work environment because it is very rare that anyone is nice that works there. I have been staying there for 15 years and many of the same people still work there. I am hoping that since they have been closed down because of COVID that there will be a new staff there.
17 W New Orleans - French Quarter

images
We occasionally stay here, when we want to get out of Uptown for a nice, urbane experience. Nice rooms. Could be cleaner. Enjoyable overall. I like the pool. This W has always been the superior of the the two when there were two.
18 Loft 523

Stayed here after seeing it on Anthony Bourdain's Part's Unknown years ago. Spent two nights in a penthouse suite and it was a fantastic experience.
The beds were very comfortable and the suite was clean and well decorated.
My only complaint was the shower, I don't think the double headed shower worked quite as it was supposed to; not a big deal though.
19 Sonder — Maison De Ville

I'm giving 4 stars with a leaky a/c unit and wet carpet. This hotel is unbelievably charming. It's somewhere around 200 years old and former slave quarter/stables. Fountain in the middle of the courtyard. Close enough to Bourbon Street to smell the hot dog cart on the corner and someone drumming on a bucket, but not the bar 2 doors down. Court of Two Sisters is in the other side of the wall and smells delicious. With all that, unbelievably quiet and peaceful. Our bed was super comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. The online or text Guest Experience team responded to us within minutes. We have often talked of staying in the Quarter and this was the first time we stayed in a historic building. Lots of brick, slate and vines. If you are looking for "quintessential New Orleans" experience, this is the place to stay. We did have an inconvenience (my words) as we stated, but it has been resolved beyond our expectations and without question within 24 hours of checking in yesterday. We would absolutely recommend and I hope to be able to stay again.
20 The Pelham Hotel

We enjoyed ourselves on a nice weekend get away. The location is key. Right off Canal St. with plenty of good restaurants and shopping. A short walk the French Quarter and the National WWII Museum in the other direction. The room was smaller than I expected but it was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly to us. It was very cold and windy (Feb 18, 2021) but the door was unlocked and welcoming, however, mask did have to be worn. I thought their parking fee was too expensive (on the street right near the entrance). I ended up paying more at a local lot. We ran out of time and had to extend the time from my phone. I ended up paying $55 instead of the $42 they offered. It was only $35 until the extension.
