1 Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel

Beautiful hotel in a very nice area of NOLA. A lot of great restaurants within walking distance and the streets are quiet at night allowing for good rest. The hotel has a great gym with Peloton bike, weights and steam sauna. Nice heated pool on the rooftop with great views of the city. We were able to swim in the pool in 60 degrees weather and had a great time. Overall, this will be my go to hotel in NOLA, way better than giant 30+ story hotels nearby. It feels more like a boutique hotel with great facilities.
Breakfast was decent and the restaurant also had a great happy hour from 3 to 8pm with super yummy discounted food and drinks.
2 Lafayette Hotel

Streetcar stops right out front so it's super easy to get around the area and to the French Quarter. Only three blocks away from the WW2 museum (which was amazing). The people working there had great advice on places to eat.
3 The Higgins Hotel New Orleans, Curio Collection by Hilton

This hotel is beautiful...it feels masculine to me because everything is blue and it supports our wonderful veterans but its beautiful and packed with history among the hotel. There is an awesome rooftop bar and restaurant that offers great food and drinks! Amazing! The rooms are very modern and clean of course and spacious! The bathrooms are really nice! Just a well-maintained hotel and might I add very upscale its awesome!!!
4 Cambria Hotel New Orleans Downtown Warehouse District

I enjoyed the hotel! The workers there were very helpful and everything was clean. The rooms were nice and comfortable and there is art everywhere. Amazing! I can't wait to come back
5 Old No. 77 Hotel

images
I had such a relaxed and pleasant stay at Old No. 77! Every staff member is welcoming, professional, personable. Among my favorites are the baristas Celeste and Nick who helped me get started each day. And hats off to Randy and Martha whose friendly faces shined through their masks during Covid-19 time.
My room was lovely, I so appreciate how it was inviting, calming, and peaceful. Almost spa-like. It felt like a home away from home.
6 Ace Hotel New Orleans

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff, everyone was so welcoming and accommodating.. the lobby was gorgeous, rooms are so spacious... loved it!! It will be the place to stay when we come back to NOLA
7 Maison de la Luz

images
By far the nicest hotel in NOLA. The design and service are top notch! Highly recommend
8 The Brandywine by Sextant

images
We got a really nice studio apartment, it was very clean, spacious for its size with modern appliances....great kitchen by the way. The only issue we had were with the club chairs in the apartment. They were riddled with food and random stains and they both needed a good deep clean. Another plus to this place is that you get a gorgeous view of New Orleans Business District from the rooftop here.
9 The Natchez Vacation Rentals

images
This air bnb was everything we wanted it to be from the welcoming hotel clerks, the two hot tubs and the pool. The rooftop overlooks part of the city, shops, restaurants and touring in walking distance. I recommend this spot if you go to Nola with a large group.
I couldn't post the video but believe me it's a great rental.
10 Le Méridien New Orleans

This place was in perfect location, across street from casino, steps away from French Quarter, and a few blocks from Bourbon. Upon arrival, valet was very nice, receptionist was welcoming and nice as well. First thing I noticed when entering hotel was the beautiful smell and how uniquely decorated it was. Room was awesome and beds were super comfortable which made it hard to get out of the day of check out. Lol I most definitely will be staying here again!
11 Q&C HotelBar New Orleans, Autograph Collection®

The staff is incredible!!! The characteristic of the hotel have a charm that is warming like a welcoming hug. I’ve lost my room card about seven times. They just smile. They greet me every morning and every evening. I feel like they are my friends. One of the front staff, special shout out “sweetie”. It’s a southern thing.
12 St. James Hotel New Orleans Downtown (French Quarter Area)

Definitely will stay here again. The staff was great and the lady at the front desk on the morning shift was wonderful and accommodating. The guys on night shift were great as well, offering many suggestions of where to get food off the beaten path.
Only complaint really I suppose was the pool was tiny and ice cold. Not sure it's really a pool. More like a decorative fountain. Definitely skipped taking a swim. But otherwise great experience, nice location (near the French Quarter and down the street from Buzz NOLA bikes) and well priced
13 The Eliza Jane - In the Unbound Collection by Hyatt

images
The Eliza Jane is a perfect hotel for those who enjoy older buildings that have been converted. There are some original walls and parts of the original building which are appealing. The hotel also has a great location in the business district and just steps from the French Quarter. Staff were friendly and provided some good dining advice. I also give them kudos for providing an update prior to arriving to reflect my status.
There were a few aspects that could be improved. The furniture felt very dated like old leftovers from a different time. Also, the lighting was not great. The room was dark at night to the point my Zoom session was difficult to complete unless I was directly under a light.
14 Magnolia Hotel New Orleans

images
Rooms were nice with great big windows for a nice view of the city. Staff was super friendly. Bed was very comfortable
The negative to this hotel was that some of the stuff wore masks and some did not. They have signs before coming in that masks are mandatory so why does this not apply to employees?
No microwave or fridge
Great location
15 Loft 523

Stayed here after seeing it on Anthony Bourdain's Part's Unknown years ago. Spent two nights in a penthouse suite and it was a fantastic experience.
The beds were very comfortable and the suite was clean and well decorated.
My only complaint was the shower, I don't think the double headed shower worked quite as it was supposed to; not a big deal though.
16 Le Pavillon Hotel

images
Super comfy beds. Got a room with two queens for a special summer deal for $109. Bathroom is small but the tub/shower is really nice. Rooftop pool is okay. Nothing too fancy, but it was nice to have a dip in the morning. We got free pb&j when we came and the service was generally nice. Pay for parking overnight. It's worth it. Everything will be in walking distance.
17 International House Hotel

images
I had a great stay while I was here. I stayed in the Rockstar Room which was very fitting because it had no windows and gave me plenty of time to sleep the day away.
The lobby is exquisite. I mean there's a Banksy exhibit in the lobby what more could you want?!
Parker took care of me my entire stay. I wanted for nothing.
All they're missing is a pool!
18 The Pelham Hotel

We enjoyed ourselves on a nice weekend get away. The location is key. Right off Canal St. with plenty of good restaurants and shopping. A short walk the French Quarter and the National WWII Museum in the other direction. The room was smaller than I expected but it was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly to us. It was very cold and windy (Feb 18, 2021) but the door was unlocked and welcoming, however, mask did have to be worn. I thought their parking fee was too expensive (on the street right near the entrance). I ended up paying more at a local lot. We ran out of time and had to extend the time from my phone. I ended up paying $55 instead of the $42 they offered. It was only $35 until the extension.
19 The Quisby

Safe and clean place to stay for a solo female on a budget. Conveniently located near several bus/street car stops making it easy and worry free to get from place to place at any hour. Had 3 roommates all of which were quiet and respectful. Will definitely be staying here again!
20 Hyatt Regency New Orleans
