This is a great place to stay if you want to be in the French Quarter. It was also featured on our ghost tour and we learned on our last day that building 5 was haunted. The rooms were average size, and building 1 where we stayed our room faced the courtyard. We were on the second floor and there was no elevator. Still, it was nice to sit in the courtyard and chat with friends. You can pick up food nearby and eat outside. My only complaint was the wood French doors did not block the noise outside. I liked that you could hear the fountain when it was quiet, but you could also hear lots of chatter from the neighbors. The staff was all very friendly and service was great. Just don't request fresh towels late at night. The response time was very, very slow.
The location was the best. Everything was close by. Highly recommend the breakfast spot attached to the hotel “French toast” . Although the location was great . The staff did not acknowledge us whenever we walked by them . Which I think is very rude . Outside of our room vacuums and cleaning supplies where just left out in front of our room for atleast a day . Other than that it was a nice stay very convenient for walking around the French quarter .
Wonderful hotel. Close to everything in the French quarter. They take covid seriously, which makes staying there safe. The rooms are traditional new orleans style, with tall ceilings, and interesting details. The pool has a 7 foot depth, and is a beautiful azure. The nightly parking is a bit less than other hotels, but do plan to budget for that extra $30/night if you are going to park on-site (valet only).
Always a great place to stay. Thomas the bartender, was great guy to talk to. We will be back soon!
So far this place is fantastic! The bed is comfortable and the pillows are like sleeping on clouds. Its clean with newer furniture. The best thing is the service. The employees go way out of the way to make sure your happy.
