I enjoyed the hotel! The workers there were very helpful and everything was clean. The rooms were nice and comfortable and there is art everywhere. Amazing! I can't wait to come back
Very nice hotel! We stay in Nola a couple times a year. I'll definitely book again. Location is good. The hotel is family friendly but also good for times without children.
I guess perhaps I am a bit spoiled when it comes to hotel rooms. But I would not consider a coffee maker in the room a lofty expectation. Instead they had a coffee maker in the lobby that charged your credit card $8 for a less than palatable cup of coffee. Not impressed...like at all!
The bartender however, she was spot on! Gave us tips on where we needed to go to see the sights, and places to avoid. Kudos to her, she was awesome!
This is such a nice hotel. Its very clean. We had a view from our room which was nice to see the city. The staff was nice as well. The building is small from the outside but huge on the inside. I wasn't quite a fan of the wall paper though lol. But I would Definitely stay again. Friendly reminder: YOU PAY FOR PARKING. Like everywhere else in Nola lol.
When I first arrived there was nobody at the counter and no sign indicating anything to the fact they would be back. After about 5 minutes of watching the bartender looking at her phone with someone I went there to ask if there was anyone working.
The room itself was nice but our TV stopped working. I called downstairs. They said I could go down for a new remote or they could come up "in a little while" after about 45 min I called again and without even a hello I was rudely told someone was coming. He attempted to "switch boxes" but still couldn't get it to work and was told he was coming back in the morning and offered no other solution. I asked if there was another room available. He said not a king but May be a queen. Mentioned something about our floor so we wouldn't have to move so far and said he would call. About an hour later, with no call back, I tried the tv and said it worked. I called to let them know and was basically hung up on.
I did not feel safe having to walk so far yo my car with the large crowd hanging outside and some drunk man in the lobby trying to get into the elevator and realizing he was lost.
Also very disappointed to have no cups in the room to even drink a glass of water. This is the first Choice hotel that didn't even have coffee without having to pay 3.00
Needless to say I won't be back and when my friends go to NOLA I will have them stay far far away.
