Absolutely perfect place to stay in NOLA. It's just a short jaunt down the equally awesome Frenchmen Street to the French Quarter. The garden is wonderful, full of beautiful murals and flora. The hot tub was a great perk, the rooms were cozy and comfortable and Joshua is a fantastic host. He was super responsive and thoughtful. And his photography, showcased on the walls of the rooms, is inspiring. Collette, the resident kitty, just topped it all off for us!
The Blue 60 Guesthouse is absolutely phenomenal. We try to always stay here when we visit NOLA.
Each unit is uniquely charming in it's own way. The common sitting areas outside in the courtyard are beautifully accented with greenery.
The Quarter is walking distance and the parking is free. We literally park our car on the street and walk everywhere when we are here.
We absolutely loved our stay and Joshua was so helpful and accommodating. The amenities were lovely and that hot tub(!!) came in clutch with the cold snap we experienced over the weekend. The details of the Garden unit where we stayed were thoughtful and cozy. This is the perfect place to stay if you like to hang outside and want to feel like a local for a hot minute. We'd definitely stay here again.
We stayed at this place for 5 nights and felt like home really. Josh is a great photography artist and made the rooms like an art gallery. You can find great details, like coffee machine (including coffee & half-half etc), microwave, small fridge, super clean towels and sheets, Netflix and other pay TV on a large screen, like-new dishes for basic needs. There is a shed with washing machine & dryer in the garden, you don’t even have to worry about washing liquid & softener, FOC for guests of course. Josh is ready to help 24/7 for your piece of mind. And there are bunch of patios all around the house, so you can enjoy day & night. Swings, tables, outdoor lights. Parking is free on the street and you can always find a spot. I definitely know where to stay at my next New Orleans trip for sure.
My wife and I stayed in the Magnolia Room at Blue60 for two nights and really enjoyed the stay. Joshua was a perfect host. He was helpful with all of my questions prior to booking, was on hand to show us the room when we arrived, and was available to us by phone/text if we needed something after that. Additionally, we got a really good price on the Blue60 website. We recommend it and would stay there again. Thanks, Joshua!
