If anybody out there is looking for good deals for hotels browse through ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ booked a resort on there and they had the absolute best prices anywhere!
I loved it. Clean, everyone was friendly. The food was great. Large conference rooms. Beautiful hotel.
I just expected more from this hotel. Overall it was just okay.
1. Only one person working the front desk and the poor lady was always so busy.
2. Because of covid, they don't clean your rooms daily which would be okay for a 1 night stay but for a 4 night stay it would have been nice to be cleaned. We asked for both rooms to be cleaned and that didn't happen once.
3. Most uncomfortable beds ever. I requested a mattress cover 3 times and when they finally delivered it to the room they just handed it to me and walked off. I kinda thought they would put it on the bed.
4. Best part about the shower is that it's an actual shower and not a tub/shower combo. However the water pressure left a lot to be desired. It was hard to even rinse the shampoo out of your hair with the trickle.
5. We had 2 rooms and they put a $1600 hold on our debit card which was a huge shock. It was released the day we checked out but that was a shock.
I will say the hotel was nice and clean. We wanted to book the best hotel that New Orleans had to offer and we thought this was it until we stayed there. Next time we will stay somewhere else.
From the very first moment we entered the hotel, the staff greeted us as we were old friends. They offered us to upgrade our room and also checked into our Hilton membership and soon they noticed we could use some point for a free breakfast.
They were always in constant communication with us which to me was great because it was our first visit to New Orleans.
I definitely will return to this marvelous hotel very soon.
The elegance and history of the hotel cannot be described and just plain words. And I'm only a walk onto the property the doorman greet you with a smile and ask if this is your first time to New Orleans and the hotel. As I left the hotel and was came back into it the doorman call me by name which impressed me because of we only had a 3 minute conversation. The reception area was quick easy and painless and instructions were giving us to which hotels and how to operate them with your room keypass. The room was elegant the furniture The view just amazing. The swimming pool with the personalized cabanas and the garden area were beautiful, you would not expect to see something like that in the middle of a hotel or in the city. We're then walking distance of the French quarters it was truly amazing and convenient.
If you are a Hilton Honors Diamond member don't expect anything other than your free bottle of water. If you call down and ask for a corkscrew and a wine glass don't expect that either even after 3 calls to the front desk and don't expect them to answer the phone in under 25 rings. One coffee cup in the room, the coffee maker was dirty I ran 4 cups of water before it came clean. As for he breakfast you will get better food and service at the local Denny's. When you ask for a manager you will be told no one is available and when you call and leave a message no one will call you back. This must be the Motel 6 of Hilton. You will get treated better at a 79.00 Hampton off the freeway or any other Hilton property. Do your self a favor skip this place.
